Space saver without compromising quality
We absolutely love this coffee maker! It is perfect to have on your counter and not take up too much space. And, it’s simple to use. We have a regular coffee maker and then this for k-pods, and having this instead of the big K-pod machines is a BIG wonderful difference in counter space, without compromising quality.

Great for travel
Great coffeemaker. We bought this to use in hotel rooms while on a month long road trip and it worked great! We like that you can use your own coffee (which is SO MUCH a cheaper than pods) but it is handy to have the pods in some circumstances. Also, using your own coffee reduces the amount of garbage (can you imagine the millions of pods accumulating in our dumps?!).

Only had this a couple of days now, but it’s fine. My only issue is why it needs to be unplugged after every use, and probably won’t do that, because “who does that?” Typically, plugged in appliances remain plugged in. But that said, the thing does its job. Especially for the price and doesn’t take up much counter space.

With single cup brewers like this one, your coffee is aways fresh.
Coffee temperature is fine … hot enough do that can’t “gulp” it too soon after brewing. What I like about these off-brand coffeemakers (meaning NOT Keurig) is that they have a smaller footprint on your countertop and they brew quicker and quieter than a Keurig. With this class of coffee maker, there is no separate tank to fill that transfers the cold water to the brewing chamber. You fill the water directly into the brewing chamber. So you don’t have to listen to that awful pump transfer the water. I don’t drink a whole pot of coffee at anytime during the day and I don’t like coffee that has sat on a warming plate for a while. I am the only coffee drinker in my house. So a cup-at-a-time brewer is perfect. Every cup is fresh and it only takes a minute … all without that water tranfer pump that sounds like an idling 1960’s Ford 6 cylinder that needs a muffler. Water (brewing) chamber is larger than any cup in my cabinet. This Karosie has a 12 0z water chamber … plenty large. Countertop footprint is MUCH smaller than a Keurig. AND … it takes the aftermarket flip top brewing cups. GREAT value.

Looking for something better!
First ounce of water that comes out has not been heated. So either the unit doesn’t totally purge the water when making a cup or water is pumped before heater gets to temperature.It is pretty quiet and after catching that first ounce and discarding, it is hot.

Great lttle coffee maker!
I should have gotten this sooner. This coffee maker is small in size and doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. The coffee a only takes a few minutes to brew, and it’s hot. I was using a 12 cup coffee maker and kept throwing away alot of coffee, because I always made more than I needed. Now one spoon of coffee and I have a delicious hot cup. If I want more I just make another cup. It is also good that you can use the pods too. Very pleased with my purchase.
