Review of Artigarden Outdoor Wall Mounted Hose Reel with Hook
Ordered this metal Artigarden Outdoor Hose Reel to replace a plastic on that had broken from the weight of constantly winding up 100 feet of heavy duty garden hose.Reel appears to be well made and painted in black that has not rusted so far after about four months of use. Can’t say for sure if it will hold 125 feet of hose as it barely holds my 100 foot heavy duty hose.It does work well for my use and the four hooks included are handy for hanging a couple of hose reel attachments.Does require assembly but not impossible using the included directions. One thing, put a little dab of grease or something where the two reel bushings go through the side bracket. Mine squealed when winding up the hose until I lubricated it.So far I have been happy with this reel.

Sturdy, well constructed…. Some assembly required has some issues….
Pleasantly surprised!! Sturdy unit does the job…..! People have complained about assembly…. not too bad but the screw holes were over sprayed so the screws did not start easily so that was probably trouble for newbe diyer…. Even the factory had problems apparently because one mine, one of the three the hose flange screws was totally wonky/cross threaded….. Despite that, this is way better than other plasto junk out there. I’m buying another one for the back.

I put this on the outside of my shed and it works very well for rolling up 100 feet of one and a half inch hose. Seems well built.

Capacity
this hose reel only holds 50′ of standard household hose. Tried to put on 50′ of commercial grade hose would not fit. It’s made ok and mounted to my cement block house it is sturdy but only for 50′ of standard hose. If that’s all the hose you have and its the standard size it’s a good hanger If you need more hose length or a stronger hose continue looking elsewhere
