    Right size, sturdy, washable, good value for money.
    Excellent cutting board. I was using plastic, which began to have knife marks in it. I didn’t want to serve plastic chips to my family, so I sent for the bamboo cutting board. Light weigh, washes beautifully, good price, the perfect size for everyday cutting ,and no knife marks,

    Bamboo is the best! Don’t forget that.
    This is a great bamboo cutting board! The finger or peg hole is a great idea for storage and maneuvering. The juice groove could be a little bigger, perhaps a quarter inch wider. The cut outs on the long ends of the backside help you pick it up from the countertop if you’re not using some sort of grippy, trivet, riser, type of support… definitely quality made. Forget other high-tech materials that ruin your knives. Mother nature made the best cutting board you will ever own. Natural fiber, cutting boards do require a modicum of sanitary efforts if you’re familiar with the kitchen at all. Use lemon juice, there are many natural sanitizing solutions that nature has also provided for your kitchen. For wood or bamboo cutting boards, season them with food grade mineral oil before use… After that, lemon juice makes a great sanitizer between foods being cut. Never use strong chemical detergents or put in dishwasher. Always hand wash and never risk cross-contamination between foods. Your knives will thank you. A titanium cutting board is like using diamond brake pads on aluminum rotors… you wouldn’t make it around the block… I would’ve given this Five Stars if the juice groove was slightly wider and twice as deep. My interest in the culinary arts started over 30 years ago and every cutting board I’ve used, and I’ve used every kind, was always second place to bamboo. Outside of that material, the only thing you need to care about is size and design. Any kind of metal cutting board is going to lose any investment you have made in your knives. Nobody wants plastic, even if it lasts forever… And because it lasts forever… even a dollar store bamboo cutting board is better than titanium…

    Bamboo cutting board
    The size of the cutting board is good for daily food preparation. I am not expecting that it will last forever but it’s a good value for the product. From my experience, bamboo cutting board will get moldy after a while, so I will try to air dry as much as possible this time. The grove design is great than the juices won’t spill everywhere.

    Exactly what I need
    I really like this traditional bamboo cutting board. While plastic ones are very common, it is not very healthy. And metal ones are bad for your knives. This bamboo one is durable, healthy and doesn’t hurt my knives. Size is perfect. Price is reasonable.

    great addition to my kitchen
    I really liked this bamboo cutting board. I’ve already used it several times and it’s been great—sturdy, smooth, and gentle on my knives. It doesn’t leave scratches easily and cleans up super well without absorbing odors. The size is perfect for everyday chopping, and it feels durable without being too heavy. Definitely a great addition to my kitchen!

    Lightweight, functional bamboo cutting board
    I got this bamboo cutting board in the 14.9” x 9.6” size. It is a little bit less than ½” thick. All the edges and surfaces are smooth. I like that I can use either size. I also like that it is pretty lightweight. I like that bamboo isn’t as easily damaged by water as wood and is typically a sustainable resource. While bamboo can be harder than wood and therefore gentler on knives, this board feels pretty soft. So I think it will be gentler than other bamboo boards on my knives.As a side note, don’t put this in the dishwasher. The current listing says multiple times not to put it in the dishwasher, but I swear that it said dishwasher safe when I checked before putting it in the dishwasher. I was excited to test this claim out because who puts a wood or bamboo cutting board in the dishwasher? I do; I guess. But don’t do it! It is still serviceable but has a nice size split in the side. Bamboo shrinks back down to normal size as it dries, unlike wood, so I hope that when it fully dries out it will go back to shape. But I am definitely hand washing from now on.Overall, this is a mid-quality cutting board but a good value at the current discounted price. I probably wouldn’t choose it for the current full price. It is functional and just the right size and weight for what we needed. It will be in our regular cutting board rotation for our non-meat foods that need chopping.

    Really Wanted This Cutting Board to Work
    The medium-sized bamboo cutting board that I received felt smooth and looked nice initially. It was just the right size and thickness for everyday quick use for light cutting. It’s not a thick, solid piece of wood, but that’s not what you get at this price point, and I wasn’t expecting a heavy butcherblock board. But even at this price point, I can’t recommend it.The cutting board is made of three layers of bamboo which should’ve added some stability. It’s not a solid piece of wood (more of a bamboo plywood) and there are warnings not to soak the board or put it in dishwasher which I followed. The board has rounded corners and a nice drip groove around the top perimeter. When I received the cutting board, it had only one very small gap on the back about 2” long but the wood was smooth, and the drip groove was cut neatly.I handwashed the board with a drop of dish soap, rinsed and wiped it off, then set it aside. Once completely dry, I lightly oiled the board front and back with some food grade mineral oil two times, letting it dry between coats.But after the first time using it to cut veggies with just a quick rinse and wipe to clean, the board immediately started separating and fraying on the edges in places. Sadly, I can’t recommend this board. I will just use it as a craft board until it is unusable and then toss it.
