This is an AWESOME and beautiful cutting board that I gladly give 5 stars to. Here’s why:- build quality is terrific – the bamboo pattern is locked together in a manner to create great stability and prevent warping- it is beautiful — take a look at the herringbone design – lovely pattern!- terrific size — the three cutting boards provide flexibility to use the right size cutting board for the job needed- the grooves around the board are great for any juices that may come out when cutting- flexibility — if you turn the cutting board over, it doubles as a charcuterie board- presentation — when opening up the cutting board for the first time, it is beautifully boxed (see picture)This is a terrific item and highly recommend it to anyone who may be in the market for a high quality cutting board that they’d be proud to use in their kitchen

Gorgeous Herringbone Cutting Board
This is a large, absolutely beautiful, bamboo cutting board. It is designed with a herringbone pattern, and it has a channel inside the edge for catching drips or juice. The reverse side is flat, with no groove.The cutting board comes wrapped like a gift and is well packaged to protect this beautiful board. The herringbone pattern is striking and adds to the utility of the board, according to the product page, by creating warp-resistance. In bamboo construction, the V-shaped layout alternates the orientation of each segment. This means that any natural expansion, contraction, or moisture-related movement in one direction is offset by the opposing segment. This structure is less prone to cupping or edge lift.Bamboo is also eco-friendly because it grows extremely fast, requires minimal resources, and regenerates without replanting—making it a highly sustainable alternative to wood and plastic.This board is not competitively priced when compared to other similar-sized bamboo boards. The herringbone structure in cutting boards, however, is quite rare and requires a great deal of extra joinery. Each strip must be cut at consistent angles—typically 30° or 45°—to form the interlocking V-shapes. Even slight deviations can ruin the symmetry. I think, overall, the extra time and structural improvements against warping make the price worth it.

Pretty Board, Just Wish It Had More Chunk
This board is definitely a looker the bamboo finish is smooth and clean, and it makes my kitchen feel a little fancier every time I pull it out. Love the juice grooves too, they actually catch stuff instead of letting it run all over the counter. That said, it’s a bit thinner than I was expecting. Still totally usable and feels sturdy enough, just doesn’t have that thick, solid chop-block vibe I was hoping for. Works great for cutting fruit or veggies though and it’s super lightweight so moving it around is no hassle. Not bad, just not as beefy as I pictured.
