I am so impressed with this Farberware extra large wood cutting board! First off, the size is perfect—plenty of space to chop, prep, and spread out without feeling cramped. Whether I’m slicing up veggies, carving meats, or prepping multiple ingredients, this board handles it all with ease.The wood is high-quality and has a beautiful natural finish that looks great on my countertop. It feels sturdy and durable, and it’s held up well to daily use without warping or cracking. I also love that it’s gentle on my knives compared to plastic boards.Cleanup is simple too—just a quick hand wash and it’s good as new. A little expensive but a good quality board.
Purchased this board over a year ago because it’s large, a wood board and almost the perfect size on the counter we use most for prepping food. We have numerous boards because we have white counters and don’t allow anything made of metal to touch them. This board is quality made. However, is has no rubber feet to prevent sliding. I didn’t reduce any stars because of it. I put my own inexpensive stick on rubber feet on the bottom and we use these rubbery bottle openers under it to keep it from sliding which works well. I like that when the top wears I can remove the feet easily and flip it over.My likes: it doesn’t have a big opening in the board for a handle or a juice grove around the edges which doesn’t work in my opinion. It’s somewhat heavy and hard without being too thick or too heavy. I use a different cheaper board for slicing anything that requires an electric knife so to reduce scratching or gouging on this board. All other chopping and food preparing with hand knives on this board. Cleans easily with a soapy sponge. It’s the most used prep board in our kitchen. Everything in our kitchen is cleaned daily including this board with a common household window cleaner that contains ammonia.

Nice size, nice weight. Use beeswax instead of oil to keep from staining
So far so good. I am oiling it regularly. I use it daily and it seems to be lasting and good quality. I’m going to oil it more often because it seems to stain a little bit easily. I’m hoping that’s just because I need to use beeswax instead of oil. Beeswax is more repellent

An Affordable Alternative to Expensive Handcrafted Boards
If you’re like me and can’t afford a high quality hand crafted large board, I would say this is the next best thing. I purchased two of them and have been using them every day for several weeks. I’m quite happy with them even though I had wished for a darker finished board. I purchased the Walrus oil and wax to apply to these and I added feet from the Walrus oil company and they are perfect. I would recommend adding feet if there is any chance moisture or liquid could get under the board. Warping is common when one side gets wet or damp. I would say that for the quality and size, the price is right and a good value. I like the thickness and sturdy quality. It doesn’t look cheap.I use bleach to clean my boards to remove stains and kill bacteria but if you oil and wax them as I did, it will keep them in good condition for many years.

I had been using the plastic type boards and found they were damaging my knives so I purchased this one. It’s perfect! It’s size is perfect for meal prepping and my knives are no longer being damaged. I also purchased board oil as well to keep it in tip top shape.
