Awesome.convenient plugs
These work great and they are smart life brand which is one of the major ones. So a lot of my lights ans plugs in my house already used smart life.. these are super convenient in that way. They automatically popped up on my Alexa after I added them through the smart life app. They are smaller than other plugs i have had in past which is nice because they can fit better on strips. These work great! Great value for money. The connectivity is really great and easy to control theough Alexa and smart life

A good value 4-pack of smart plugs that work with both Amazon Alexa and Google Home
This 4-pack of smart plugs is a very good value. The plugs are compact enough that they will not block the second outlet on a wall outlet. That leaves the second socket open for another device or a second smart plug.The app for the smart plugs was easy to install I was easily able to link it with Alexa. Response both from the app and when tied to Alexa was always rapid and reliable.I’ve owned some plugs in the past that were not compatible with Alexa, but having seamless integration with Alexa is a game changer. I already have plans to purchase more of these – they are simply too useful.There are so many uses for these plugs. Aside from the standard use with lamps, appliances, and other household devices, I’ve found some other rather unique uses. For example, in many computers the settings for the system include the ability to automatically power the system back on if power is lost and then returns. So, if I have shut down a computer and need to turn it back on remotely, I can use the smart plug to turn off power and then turn it back on. The computer then automatically starts up.Highly recommended!

Handy and easy setup using the app provided you do two things:1) Connect to the 2.4 and not the 5 ghz antenna on your wireless router. For some, the network are named differently and this is as easy as selecting the 2.4. For others like me, who have the 2.4 and 5 named the same, you will possibly have to log into your router and temporarily turn off the 5 ghz antenna. That isn’t hard, but it is a step beyond the abilities of your average internet user.2) Allow your phone to connect to local devices using Bluetooth. Initially, I wasn’t having any luck with this being found by the app until I noticed that small print and authorized the Bluetooth connection. After that is was EZ PZ.The vast majority of people use these to automate lighting. Using Google Home or Alexa, you can customize routines and group devices by room, etc. to your hearts content. But I can also see them as being helpful for holiday decorations (Halloween props, Xmas lights, etc), automatic blinds, or anything else with a manual power switch that you want to turn on or off with a voice command.

I like that I can voice activate and deactivate these smart plugs.They are great for when I have my hands full with kids and need to turn off lamps etc. These would also work great for Christmas tree timers as well. The functionality is great. You do have to download an app on your phone to use them as well, but that is not an issue for me, they connected great and did not have any issues.The size and fit into my outlet is perfect. I would buy these again.

I’ve been using multiple brands for over a year. This new set of four has been the easiest and quickest to set up. They use the Smart Life App, which is nice. I’m familiar with the app so that adds to the ease of setup.These plugs are sleek and compact. They are oriented the correct direction so that you can make use of both grounded outlets. These are just so easy, plug them in, they go into pairing mode. Open the app and it pops up to add. Name it after a few seconds of download time. Then re-link to Google Home. Done.Using voice control makes my life much easier. These are the most easy smart plugs yet! So far so good!
