Perfect lightweight pot
Ceramic pots are heavy and expensive, these plastic pots are lightweight, affordable and great looking. I purchased the 5 inch size for my Hoya’s, small trailers & some succulents. These fit easily on a plant shelf or in a medium size macrame hanger or add a terracotta or ceramic saucer for extra width. The 5″ size fits a small Hoya support, I recommend Moromyse 4 Pack Min Bamboo Trellis – 16 inch Plant Support Garden Trellis also avail in Amazon.

Useful and Utilitarian Planter
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this particular planter to place my no-longer blooming orchid plants in to encourage them to bloom again. It has drainage capability with a tray in the bottom. The quality is good, although they are plastic and more of a utilitarian type planter. Cutie Pots!
Such a great value! I got the dark gray to match my kitchen. The quality is and look is fantastic. They are easy to keep clean and help keep my plants alive in case I over water them. Even though they are plastic they do not look cheap. I will definitely be buying more!

The images are misleading about the tray on the bottom, but the pots look great.
To start: That tray on the bottom is not for excess drainage. I have no idea if it has any use beyond aesthetic, however, there are many pots on the market that have a similar color change for a detachable tray on the bottom. The tray on those pots is used for bottom watering or to collect water drainage after the soil is fully saturated. This tray, while it looks identical and is detachable, is maybe 2mm deep. So, effectively, it has no extra drainage capacity. I specifically bought these pots so I could limit water leakage on watering days so I was a bit disappointed when I assembled the pots.That being said, they do work as pots. They hold the soil and water well without bending or being too flimsy. The colors are true to the pictures. They’re easy to assemble and are very light weight, so, if you’re putting them on a shelf, you don’t have to worry about extra weight from the pot.If you’re looking for something that’s cute, light weight, and sturdy, this is a good option especially for the price. If you want something that can store water in the bottom, either to catch drainage or to “auto-water” your plants, this is not the pot set for you.
