I don’t typically leave reviews. I know I’m selfish because I always scour them before a purchase.I felt compelled however to leave one for this item. It’s freaking brilliant. Sometimes your tired, you’ve cleaned up the place but to get the mop, catch the water and all that you sigh and tell yourself tomorrow.Not anymore!This item is brilliant. Not a gimmicky jet of steam, it’s the real deal. Light, quick , powerful ….oh man , I wish I’d purchased yonks ago.I can’t get over how clean the floor is when I’m finished and practically dry.I purchased the extra pack of covers ( manufacturer brand ) so when I’m finished i throw it in the laundry. As a result the place is always clean and sanitized. No pushing the dirt around even though you can’t see it. Your floor is truly clean.Not to mention it’s so easy to use and does such a good job you use it more frequently.Well, I hope this helps. Not the usual whining about insignificant stuff u read in some reviews because some people are just fault finders lolI need this sort of review each time I make I purchase and I’d be sold.Hence….

Cleaning Floors Now Easier than Ever!!!
Absolutely love this compact, lightweight, steam floor cleaner. I live in the city and wanted a device that would make cleaning my concrete floors easy to keep sanitized and clean. This machine is easy to use, steam begins working in 30 seconds. No chemicals necessary and if you have pets this is an important feature. Plus the floor drys and feels really clean within a few minutes. Note that its recommended to use distilled water. ( simply fill up a water canister with tap water and leave it out for 24 hours to create a distilled water) Also I have not used this on carpets as yet.

Love this mop but pads keep coming off while using it. I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong as I’m not hard on it and am using the mops provided with the mop vac. I like that I can clean them, the mop head angles really well and the body of it can go low allowing me to go under the bed and furniture a good bit. This makes my floors look so good and I feel they are sanitized after I use the steam mop. It does take a minute or so to heat up (understandably) and you have to tilt the body and press a button to have the steam function work.I love this mop however for some reason the pads keep flying off or bunching up and swinging off. They are supposed to click in place and they do but they keep still coming off like quite often. Often enough that I’m furious by the time I’m done. They’re easy enough to stick on but I wish there was a way to clip them so they were harder to take or come off.The cord is super long which I like because it allows me to go for a long time without having to change outlets. Water is easy to add and I always dump the water after I’m done just because I don’t want it sitting idle with water in it for periods of time.

Winner! I clean professionally so I have tried many, many cleaning products, vacs, mops, etc. looking for efficient, durable, quality items that don’t break the bank. Well this steamer is a definite yes. Quickly assembled in 3 steps. I plugged it in b4 putting the cleaning pad on thinking it would take a minute to heat up….wrong. This baby was hissing within 20 seconds ready to roll. The cord is very generous and I did the whole house using only 2 electrical outlets. The water compartment is also generous and I did not have to refill it to get thru the job. The cleaning pads are nice and thick. They attach firmly to the vac by velcro and I did not experience any “wrinkling” of the pad while using. Furthermore, the handle lays flat so you’re able to get under beds and other furniture. The head swivels allowing you to reach tight areas at a sideways angle. This steam vac is well worth 5 stars. Affordable. Lightweight. Efficient. Not one single complaint do i have.

Great for horizontal surfaces, not so great for vertical ones.
Purchased this last week and used it for the first time this weekend. As many reviews have said, this works great on linoleum kitchen floors, and treated hardwood floors. It took four times cleaning my kitchen floor before the pad no longer came up dirty. So that sucker is finally clean! However, where it falls short for me was in trying to do vertical and overhead surfaces such as windows and shower walls. The unit draws water via a small hose with a weight on the end. This allows it to sit at the bottom of the reservoir when doing floors but when you try to use it vertically this suction line is at the top of the reservoir so once the water level drops a little it begins to suck air, so you need to place it with the tool facing down again for a few seconds to have it start producing steam again. This gets tiresome after the 15th time when trying to do grout on shower wall tiles. There are other units that have a similar design for cleaning floors but they also include a flexible hose you can attach to the unit and then place the tool on the end of that. This allows you to hold the steamer in one hand and the tool in the other while you do vertical and overhead surfaces using the tool attached to the flexible hose. So if the manufacturer is reading this, this would be a great accessory to add to future designs. Doing so would really make this a more universally useful tool. However, after doing my grout, they areas I did, did not look much cleaner. The stiff brush also does a number on the grout. I think I will need to stick with grout cleaning products. Also be warned, if you have flexible sealant around your toilet base or around your bathtub, the steam can actually begin to melt it, especially if you are using one of the brush attachments.Minor quibbles:1. As others have reported here, the bristles on the grout tool started splaying outwards after only a single use, plan on having to replace this frequently.2. I wish the power cord could be attached via a plug in socket near the top of the handle instead of coming out of the side of the detachable unit. This would keep the cord out of the way. The detachable unit would also have a socket you could then plug the cord in to when you want to detach it and use it as a hand held. Failing that, having a clip near the handle that you could set the cord in so it stays close the body of the unit before heading to the wall would be a nice touch. Now the cord keeps getting in my way when doing floors. Maybe I will just 3D print myself one.3. The cord holders on the unit are a nice touch, however, I kept hitting them on door frames when doing my bathrooms. Luckily they are spring loaded so they bend out of the way, but I feel its only a matter of time before one breaks off in my clumsy hands.4. The brushes supplied are very stiff, it would be nice to have a softer option to use on counter tops, appliances etc.Summary: Nice unit for doing floors, but problematic design flaws revealed themselves (for me) when trying to do vertical and/or overhead surfaces.Update: Sept 2024 – turned the unit on today. Green light came on, heard some faint sounds from the stream chamber … but nothing else. Maybe used it 10 times, now its non-functional. Sent message to manufacturer but its been 1 year two months since I purchased it so past their 1 year warranty. Nice. Downgrading my score to one star until I hear back, if I hear back, from PurSteam.Update: Nov 2024 – despite calling and leaving a report on their website, I never received a reply and no reply here indicates zero customer service, just lip service. Looking at another manufacturer.

This item seems to fulfill its description. Having said that, it’s my first steam mop so I have nothing to compare it to. I was going back and forth trying to decide between this one and a Bissel but for the difference in price and the positive reviews I read on various sites, I felt it was worth giving it try. So far, I’m pleased with my decision but as far as it’s quality in longevity, only time will tell.Other reviews complain about the cord being too short. Quite honestly, it’s all relative depending on how large the area is your cleaning. Even if the cord is another 5’ or 10’ longer it still won’t reach if you’re trying to cover 5000 square feet for example without having to unplug it.You do have to lay the mop flat to pour in the water which I didn’t find to be a big deal but could be challenging for someone who perhaps has back issues. Having said that, it’s light enough to lift up and perhaps lay it flat on the countertop to be able to pour the water in. I was quite pleasantly surprised how quickly the steam mop heats up and is ready to go in just seconds.Now, for my complaint. Although the steam mop comes with two cleaning pads, the company doesn’t offer their own original pads for purchase. You have to purchase from a third party who’s pads have Velcro on them which if you look closely, don’t line up with the Velcro on the bottom of the steam mop (mop has 6 strips, after market pads have 5). The original pads don’t even have strips of Velcro on them because the side that attaches seems to be on big piece of Velcro.All in all, I wouldn’t let that be discouraging from purchasing this steam mop, just simply launder the pads it comes with more often.

Buyer beware the product had two different sized pins, which made plugging the product to the electrical socket a challenge.My compliments to the engineer which came with the design. Also, much needs to be appreciated regarding the non existent customer service of the vendor which is totally incapable of replacing the product and making things right and experiencing some level of job satisfaction by doing so.

This is a phenomenal product! This steam mop has gone above and beyond my expectations, not just in that it comes with a carpet glider (something I didn’t even know existed – up until fairly recently, I had simply just resigned myself to the fact that I would have to settle for steam-cleaning hard floors, and hard floors only) and multiple other attachments, but it is super compact, lightweight and portable while heavy duty and efficient all at the same time. It heats up rapidly, does an amazing job steam-cleaning, and is incredibly versatile in its use. I rarely leave Amazon reviews, if at all (unless the product truly wows me, who really has the time?) but for the price that this product is set at, it truly is a steal and I would strongly urge those looking to steam-clean more than just their hard floors to give this product a try. No knock to the other steamers that I originally considered purchasing but nothing comes even close to this one in terms of versatility. It’s been a true game changer and I’m so glad that I held off until I find the right one.Oh! And lastly; I have to admit that I’m a bit baffled by these complaints about the length of the cord being too short, as this product has the longest cord I’ve ever come across out of all of my cleaning products (I’m talking vacuum cleaners and vac-mops specifically though, so perhaps steam mops have a different standard for cord lengths that I’m not aware of?), and I’ve often found myself wishing that it were shorter, if anything; on that note, I’m not really understanding where that complaint is coming from? In any event, ideal cord length or not, this product is worth every penny!
