Great Value for the Money!
These work great for LED lights… They are small, compact, lightweight and portable. They do light up the room with more ambient light then the traditional Florescent Black lights with ballasts (which is probably good for kids parties), but I wish they weren’t so bright (so the neon colors would pop more) but for the price, the convince and low wattage they are great. I’ve seen some posts that complain about the heat and safety of LED black lights but all lights get hot and these are nowhere near the heat of one regular tungsten house hold light bulb. If you touch a tungsten light bulb for a second it will burn you and leave a mark or blister. You can handle these LEDs with your hands while they’re on and they will feel really warm maybe even kinda hot but they wont burn you (just grab them by the bail or little handle). Also you can flip them sideways or upside down and mount them anyway you’d like. I’ve been doing lighting for film and television in Los Angeles for a little over 20 years and these lights are an affordable option for parties and kids events… if you really need the neon colors to glow or pop for a production or theatrical event, stick to florescent lights with a ballast :)(P.S. in the pictures, we lit a 12’x15′ room with two LED Black lights and some of the balloons were made for black light parties (and that’s why they glow) but most of the balloons were regular balloons – you can see that the LED Black lights really work and that they are fairly bright).

Not really black light
Not really a black light, or at best dimly so as the purple/blue led light swamps any glow-up from glow in the dark pigments. I have an actual black light to glow up holloween tombstones, this black light just washes the tombstones with a purple light.Below you can see the difference in the images. The actual black light really pops the painted tombstone highlights, but this product just washes with mostly purple/bluish light with some minor glow up in the 365nm range of light.

Incredible value for black lights
HUGE VALUE!! I used these to get black light on about 2000 square feet of space and they worked flawlessly. They run hot so be careful touching them after a while.

Buyer beware! Nice black lights, but not even close to 100W
These are nice 395nm (near-UV) black lights and they work quite well, but they’re not 100W. Actual measured power of four different lights is about 65 watts. If they were sold as 60 watt lamps, and priced as such, they would be great.
