Quick Setup and Great Features
I have a houseful of Kasa Smart light bulbs (both color and only white) and have been very pleased with their performance and ease of use. NOTE: I didn’t rate the “Alexa” integration as I have Google Home devices linked at home and these bulbs work perfectly with Google.Setup is a breeze with the Kasa app available in the Google Play and iPhone stores. Turn the light on initially and it blinks 3 times indicating it’s ready. Simply follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your home wi-fi.The app allows you to control the bulb with millions of color shades, you can also created schedules for on and off (complete with instant or gradual on and off), and you can choose presets for percentage of brightness and color temperatures.Integration with Google home is seamless. Simply open the Google Home app and “add” a device. The bulbs will show up with no room assignments. Simply follow the Google prompts and add the bulbs to a room in your home.Some of the Kasa bulbs I have are well over 3 years old and still perform as well as when they were taken out of the box.Sure, you can get cheaper Chinese knockoffs, but I don’t think anything beats the quality of the Kasa Smart brand (which is made by TP-Link which is a wi-fi company that has been in business for decades).I highly recommend this line of bulbs and switches. They always perform consistently.

Wish it had a higher brightness level
This only gives you an approx highest brightness level of maybe what 60 watt incandescent bulb would give. I really want one that goes up to 100. But, it’s OK for now. I use a pair on our decking lights and entry door. I’m 74 yr old gal and didn’t have a problem getting it set up with my KASA application I already had since I use their mini outlet plugs, that pairs up with my Alexa app. Easy to add the bulbs to my existing account with KASA. These can be illuminated by voice alone or the Kasa App. I can also set them to come on or off on a schedule after you name them. For the deck lighting, I had to give each bulb their separate name to use my voice to turn on so I have to say Alexa, Deck 1 ON” and Deck 2 ON” same to turn them off. It’s got a ton of color hue’s you can select from in their menu which includes Power, Brightness, White and Color. Select the Brightness to adjust the K, Use White to adjust how many K’s you want and select COLOR to select hue’s if you don’t like their Preset Orange, Red, Green or Blue hue and want to custom mix. So any color can be adjusted from a low of 2500K brightness to a high of 6500K. You just move your finger on the app to adjust it. You Just have to play with it. So because it’s only illuminates to a max of 6500K or about 60 watts, I gave it 4 stars.I know there’s other brands out there, but my KASA Smart outlets sets up and works so well with Alexa and I’ve never had a problems with their plugs or apps over the last 4 years so I picked these bulbs whichuses and sets up like the outlets that I already have did.

So easy to install. I used a lamp to program each bulb inside. As soon as I installed the bulbs in my outside light fixtures, the connection was instant. Looks great! My first package contained 2 odd bulbs, not smart bulbs. I was so excited to receive I never noticed until 1 hour later when frustrated and after trying every troubleshooting tip. My daughter kindly pointed out that the package was previously opened. Amazon was great to deal with and i received an unopened package 2 days later with smart bulb. Inspect the bulbs before you try to install.

Los productos TP Link son grandiosos; tengo un router archer AX 6000, 6 interruptores inteligentes, 1 dimmer inteligente, 1 x 4 pack de smart plugs mini, dos regletas inteligentes con tres entradas, entre otros dispositivos de esta marca y no saben fallar, tienen un funcionamiento eficiente, además de que la aplicación Tp Link Kasa es bastante útil.En general puedo decir que este foco a pesar de ser económico tiene buen flujo luminoso (medido en lumen) bastante bueno, acercándose en calidad a la de su competencia “los focos phillips Hue” (los cuales tengo 1 x 2 pack), alumbra bastante bien mí escritorio, tiene una amplia gama de colores y temperatura de color (medida en Kelvin), lo empleo para uso rudo, varias horas al día, sin embargo llega a calentarse un poco, recomiendo no situarlos en sockets embebidos para que tengan una ventilación óptima.Para quienes comentan que su dispositivo pierde constantemente la conexión, sugiero que compren un enrutador TP Link de gama media (quizás un enrutador “TP-Link WiFi 6 AX3000 Smart WiFi Router” para arriba) para que tengan una mejor gestión de los dispositivos conectados a su red wi-fi, ya que inicialmente a mí me pasaba lo mismo, hasta que adquirí un buen enrutador, el router TP Link AX6000 (procuren también actualizar el firmware de su enrutador de manera periódica para no sufrir pérdida de velocidad en la transferencia de datos). Anteriormente tenía el módem típico que TELMEX provee, el cual sólo me brindaba 17 mb/s de los 200 mb/s contratados al momento de hacer el “speed test”, desde que adquirí el enrutador TP Link antes mencionado el manejo de mis dispositivos es excelente, ya que gestiona de manera óptima todos los dispositivos y de manera simultánea, habiendo más de 20 dispositivos conectados a la vez (echo studio, echo dot, 4 pantallas, 2 laptops, 3 smart phones, y varias luces inteligentes Philips Hue y Tp Link), he hecho muchas mediciones de Speed test conectado a este enrutador TP Link Archer 6000 y en la banda de 5G, y puedo decir que la velocidad de transferencia de datos es de 200 mb/s en promedio, pero aún más importante, la gestión de los dispositivos es excelente.P.D.A mí me costó este smart bulb $309.49 mxn, precio imbatible para un foco inteligente de colores.
