Hard to get rubber flange out
Works great but getting the rubber that’s folded into the plunger (to make it a toilet plunger) was so hard!! I finally used a fork to pull it out. After that it works great.

The plunger worked! While the other brand didn’t (luckily discontinued now) and I had to buy this with overnight shipping, it worked on first try.

Heavy smoke smelling Rubber
We loved this, but then could not figure out why the bathroom was starting to smell like fire again. We just came back to the house after 7 months displaced and remediating severe ash and soot damage and landscape debris removal from the So Cal fires. At one point my wife was wiping off the floor ad decided that the smell was getting much worse at the floor, thinking maybe a subfloor problem etc. I realized she was cleaning near the new plunger set that we had not quite unwrapped yet, picked it up and was BLOWN AWAY by the severe smell of smoke coming from the rubber plunger!!! I mean, enough to affect the whole room. We found the culprit and put it outside. It is so overpowering that it is not a smell that will dissipate. Must be a petroleum based rubber product on this plunger. Of course, the last thing we need after over a month of Servpro cleaning the interior is a product that has such a heavy smoke smell. It’s too bad, because we otherwise loved the set and how it neatly fit in and nice looking it was compared to a lot of alternatives.

Great Toilet Plunger/Brush Set
Needed to replace an old plunger and glad I found this set. I like that the set is contained and doesn’t take up space. I used the plunger once and it didnt seem flimsy. The brush keeps the toilet clean.
