Do not last long (SEE UPDATE)
Worked great initially. Slowly but surely the wifi connection starts to dwindle (and I know it’s the bulbs, not the WiFi) and one by one the bulbs start to be losing power all together. I’ve taken the faulty bulbs out of the figures to try others, and it’s confirmed to be the bulbs, which is disappointing.11/13/2025 UPDATE: Seller reached out to me shortly after leaving this review to resolve the issue. They sent me replacement bulbs to swap out the faulty ones with and they have all worked great as intended thus far. Very happy with the seller’s prompt reply and communication, and again happy with my purchase.

I love these! Ill explain these real quick because its difficult to understand from the product posting.In order to use these you need an app and need to make an account. Otherwise they just switched from bright white, dim white, and vintage lighting slowly and didnt stop. The app is free, easy to use, and they also have season based and setting based presets. So the autumn season preset has oranges and reds for example. You can also dim the lights, change the colors,or set a bright white or vintage lighting. You can basically do anything with them. That includes setting a time where they’ll shut off and at a set time turn on in the morning with the lighting you choose. Very nifty. They are also very bright. There are other features as well that might be suitable for other people but honestly itll be hard to find something youre unhappy with.

I bought 2 four packs for a chandelier that holds 8 bulbs, 1 started flashing after a year and would not connect to the wifi anymore. Eventually the bulb would not turn on anymore. The other 7 are working great.

Absolutely love these lights !!! Set up is amazingly easy!! Totally compatible with my Alexa devices – turned them on and pink by voice command within 5 minutes of arrival!! Bright or dim and no matter the color these are energy efficient and affordable!! App is easy to install and navigate and they auto loaded to my Alexa app for easy use!

Solid product, Even Better Customer Service
This is a great company to work with. One of the 8 bulbs I ordered was faulty. I got in touch with Lightinginside and they sent me one free bulb to replace that one. They followed to make sure I received it as well. They made the whole process much simpler than me returning all of them to get a refund or a replacement sent. Very please. Because sengled has apparently gone completely under and their apps dont work, I need to replace their bulbs with a different vendor and after my experience with lightinginside, I will buy the remainder of bulbs from them. Recommend this product. It needs a little work on the app still but it’s a solid item and solid company. Hopefully it’ll still be around in 5 years…unlike Sengled.

These lights will make you want to smash them to stop the flashing
Garbage. I would rather buy a multi pack of individually colored LED lights than every buy these again. They were fine for a while, I was happy that I could adjust light settings without needing to swap out my home light switch for a dimmer, or change the color of the bulb entirely. But big problems.1. The connectivity sucks. Like it they straight up continuously disconnect now, and when they disconnect they flash on and off continuously until you reconnect them. So cant even function as just a basic bulb. It’s the most obnoxious thing.2. They force disconnect when you quickly cycle a light switch. Didn’t mean to turn your lights off? Better wait a minute before turning them back on or they start flashing. Have kids? Don’t invest in these lights because if they start messing with the lights it’s all over.3. They have a connect over Bluetooth option, but it’s garbage and barely functions. Must be over wifi to get full functionality.4. Any time they disconnect you need to remove them from the app/groups you have set up or there’s weird issues. And once they do reconnect, there’s times the app doesn’t recognize them as connected.I gave up on these lights and will never go back.

The trouble with smart ight bulbs…
Smart lightbulbs are great for a while, until you start realising that flicking the switch at the door is much easier than “smart” methods of turning room lights on/off. The variable colors are cool, the dimming is cool but it’s still about manually messing about with an app or talking to your smart hub versus toggling a switch and the switch is smarter by a mile. The closest smart lightbulbs come to the toggle switch simplicity is if you also use a smart hub that can use something like ultrasound to detect the room has someone in it or is empty and just leave the smart hub to turn the lights on/off when the room is populated/empty. That’s not 100% reliable and can turn the lights off when you are in the room and putting an Alexa device having ultrasound detection or equivalent in every room just to avoid toggling the switch at the door makes smart bulbs seem a lot less smart than they claim. I also find them really unreliable, each month I have to reset and re-install one or two. Then, all but the most recent wifi connection points don’t support many simultaneous connected devices, I have over thirty lights on each floor of my house. I admit, having the lights dimmed to the lowest level when I go to bed is good for winding down but I doubt the claimed 1% brightness level is honest, if I ever put a light meter in a room and measure the difference between light energy at different dimmer levels I’ll be sure to update my post.

Reliable and dependable
These have worked flawlessly for me! They were pretty easy to install and have given me no issues once installed. Even when the power has gone out and my system has gone down, they have connected right back without issue. The color on them is nice, but the alexa app is definitely a little limiting in what colors are available to you. If you adjust the color in the app it’s better. I’ve been using these for more than 6 months without any of them burning out either.

Apparence neutre blanc quand éteinte, bulbe de lumière un peu plus gros qu’habituel. l’application Smart life les a retrouvés instantanément, facile a programmer, 2 écrans différent pour ajuster les différents blancs et les différentes couleurs, (changement d’écran au glissement de doigt, je l’ai un peu cherché). Pour la variation d’intensité , diminue un peu moins qu’un variateur ordinaire même quand indique 0%. Répond bien a Alexa, on peut en plus d’allumer éteindre, demander changement de couleur et varier l’intensité vocalement. J’ai découvert que quand on a des lumières multiples sur une même switch comme par exemple des appliques murales sur un mur, Même si je fais un groupe pour commander toutes les lumières en même temps avec Alexa, une seule s’allume, je doit les nommer individuellement. ou passer par l’application smart life. Mais par contre, on a les avantages de l’inverse, parfois sur mon ilot je n’ai dans les faits besoin que d’une lumière, au dessus du lavabo, je peux désormais n’allumer que celle là quand je le souhaite, ce que ne ne pouvais faire avant avec une prise ordinaire. Donc je peux fonctionner avec ce petit problème. Très heureuse de mon expérience avec ces lumières, mais ne peut me prononcer quant à leur durabilité pour le moment.
