Even heat, easy to use.
I’ve had this for about a year and a half, and it’s still working beautifully.This is a good set for people just getting into waxing. It comes with everything you need to get started, and includes a card with beginner tips and a QR code for troubleshooting. I appreciate the lid and the silicone liner. They help keep the warmer clean and the wax free of dust. Being able to sample several different types of wax was nice, too. Each wax has a different recommended hair texture, but they also have slightly different scents.

Bought this wax warmer after deciding I wanted to save a bit of extra money and wax myself.Seen some bad reviews and decided to look at other wax warmers but ultimately went with this one. Upon opening I was very impressed with the packaging and quality of the warmer. Came in this cute pinkish color and felt pretty high quality for 30$. Overall I was very impressed with how easy it was to use, The quality, Heat temperature, and hard wax bead quality. This is a very high quality warmer for 30$ and is a long term investment if you wanna save the 30-40$+ each time you get waxed anywhere else, price ultimately depends on where you’re getting waxed for me legs is standard 30-40$ where I live.However, I do recommend getting bigger bags of the wax beads, and different type beads for waxing different hair types. (ex. Brazilian wax would need beads for coarse thick hair) which was not included. Pink beads are for eyebrow hairs and any thin hair. The creamish white beads work for legs if that’s all you got but I recommend getting different bead types.If you have sensitive skin I recommend doing a small test on your arm or leg to make sure you have no kind of reaction. I do not have sensitive skin, my skin can typically handle mostly any kind of product as I have never reacted negatively to anything I’ve put on my skin so I went all in.(Note: Wax spatula seen in video NOT included bought separately)(Note: does NOT come with pre wax or after wax)1. The first picture is everything you will get, 1pack two size sticks, 2 pack hard wax beads for fine/thin hair, 2 pack hard wax beads for thicker hair, Instructions + 5 year warranty, Wax warmer lid, silicone bowl and the warmer itself.2. After setting it up which was extremely easy, just remove packaging wrapper and put the silicone bowl in the smaller metal bowl it comes with then plug in and turn the dial to your preferred heat. (I did Max heat 240 then turned down to 185-190 and kept within that range) Cord is somewhat small so make sure it’s on a flat surface. In my case, I needed a stool since it did not reach my sink.3. The easiest way I found to clean it was letting the wax fully cool and turning the silicone bowl inside out and taking it off with my hands, then using a flushable wipe, baby wipe or any wet wipe to wipe off the rest clean.This left my legs feeling irresistibly smooth and soft. This was also my first time using a wax warmer and waxing myself. Extremely beginner friendly!

Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Wax
First, let me say the price is excellent. Even if I only use this once, it’s worth it. But it is not for the faint of heart. If you have trouble ripping off a band-aid, then this is not for you.Next, let me say, I have never waxed any part of me myself. In fact, I only started getting bikini waxes around a year ago because I had wrist surgery and it was summer and well … you understand. Anyway, desperate times call for desperate measures. With no end to the plague lockdown in sight and me looking like a 70s porn star and summer coming ’round AGAIN, I decided to try my hand at waxing. So, I am a true beginner.The kit came packaged nicely with everything shown in the pictures and clear, detailed instructions. I would have liked to have the different wax beads labeled. I had to go to the website to remind myself what color is best for what body part. But after reading the instructions (and watching a video I found for good measure), I was ready to clear the forest, so to speak.I decided, even though I usually shave my legs, to practice getting used to working with the wax by doing my lower legs first. I basically got the hang of it by the end of leg one and there was zero pain.Now, here, I’m gonna note a little drawback – I was surprised by how quickly the wax was used up. I was hoping one bag of beads would do both lower legs and bikini, given that, as a post-menopausal woman, I have very little leg hair. But by the end of my lower legs, the wax was gone and I had to melt a second bag, which definitely took some of the wind out of my sails. This could have been because I had to do some areas twice, though, while I was getting used to the technique.Anyway, with the second bag melted, I was ready for the main event. The opening act – sides – went pretty well. I did have a bit of trouble with the first strip and ended up with a little bruising on the right, but the other side went better. It really does work great and I imagine if you know what you’re doing, this is easy-peasy.I, however, do not know what I’m doing. And here I’ll note another small issue. I had some trouble keeping the wax at the right consistency. It was either too runny or too thick a good portion of the time. And little threads of wax got everywhere, try as I might to leave them in the pot. But, again, I am a beginner, so I probably just need more practice. Which leads me to…Act Two: The “undercarriage” shall we say. This is where I discovered waxing should never be done while on a bath mat or towel. Also, it’s really damn hard to wax upside down. The video I watched suggested standing with your foot up on a counter or the toilet. With my foot up on the counter, trying to get the right angle to spread the wax, I ended up waxing the bath mat. Dammit.So I moved to the toilet. This is where I learned that it’s much better to drip wax on the tile floor. Once it hardens, it pops right off. Other than that, though, the toilet was a better height than the counter.Any issues I had were mainly user error. I need practice. A lot of practice. And I probably will go back to getting my intimate areas professionally waxed once salons open again in my area. But I will definitely use this again for my legs and I might even try eyebrows.The next challenge will be cleaning the wax out of the pot. Preliminary investigation indicates it will probably take a bit of elbow grease, but the wax should come off.Hope this was helpful!

Great waxing kit! It comes with lots of wax so you can get right to waxing. I have sensitive skin and I’ve never had a problem with the wax. The unit takes a bit of time to heat up. It goes all the way to the max heat and then reduces heat until your desired heat (for me is about 150 degrees). So just be aware that it’ll take several minutes to melt and cool. I like it though. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like it hurts less doing the waxing yourself. I’m happy to have this in my house, I can do my eyebrows on my own schedule. It’s pretty sweet!

Dear Kotamu and Amazon KSA,When you wish to sell an electric product, the voltage and adapter of said product should not be secondary in terms of priorities.I was waiting for the machine only to be faced by this:The power adapter is made for the US and same for the 120 voltage of the machine (not mentioned in the description too!) while Saudi Arabia outputs support 240 V.Diagraceful!

If you’re a beginner like me, don’t buy these beads. They take forever to dry and stick on everything, and leave such a messy residue even if the strip comes off in one piece. Even soap and water isn’t gonna get all of the tiny residue out.. But the heater is really good, love the silicone bowl as well.

i love the wax warmer in this kit and the silicone insert that it comes with, makes for easy wax removal so you don’t have to spend time cleaning it out. on the other hand, the wax beads that come with this kit didn’t do too well for me. i would recommend buying the wax melter and different brand beads for best outcome!

Works perfectly well.FYI, With one 100g packet of the wax beads I was able to wax my legs from foot to knee, underarms, upper lip and side burns.Does not bruise and effectively removes unwanted hair.

I was really pleased with how this wax warmer was working, and the wax was great too. However sadly the machine turned itself off and stopped working only 20 minutes of first use. I don’t know whether mine is faulty or what happened, but any advice would be greatly appreciated..
