Great Coffee with a small footprint
I ordered this single-serve coffee maker because I have tried several other Kismile machines and each of them has been a home run in this house. I long ago got rid of our Keurig as I moved on to my preferences of my home espresso maker, burr grinder, and pour overs, but kept an all-in-one coffee maker with a burr grinder for the coffee heathens in the house and company who are less picky about their coffee drinking. After a bit more than a year of everyday use, it finally quit leaving them with only a small 4-cup coffee brewer, which was too small for all of them to get their coffee, but too big to be fast enough to brew coffee quickly while running out the door. This Kismile Single-Serve is the best of both worlds. First, it is small and takes up very little space. It holds enough water for 2 to 3 cups of coffee (10 to 12 oz) and is incredibly easy to operate. The coffee pod can be adjusted for how strong you like your coffee and is easy to fill and empty (although you do have to scrape your coffee grounds out and rinse it) — and it makes a great cup. There is a K-Cup insert that works perfectly for times you may need even more convenience. The size is adjustable from 8 to 14 oz and is accurate. Best of all, the coffee actually tastes great out of it — I have made several cups in the early evening with my burr ground fresh coffee when I don’t feel like the hassle of a pour over, and have been surprise at how tasty it is. My only complaint is that my favorite 20-oz stainless steel cup doesn’t fit directly underneath it — however, nearly every other cup does. The temperature is perfect, the brew speed is quick, and the clean up is easy. I am very pleased with this simple, tiny machine.

Very nice brewer
I’m kind of a coffee nerd, just shy of a coffee snob. For those who have no idea what I’m talking about a coffee nerd is someone who is really into coffee. A coffee snob is very peculiar about what coffee he or she will drink. I have been roasting my own coffee for a couple of years now (that’s the nerd part) but I will drink store bought coffee. (That’s the not a coffee snob part)This is a nice little coffee machine for the nerd, snob, or the I don’t care I need caffeine, drinker. If you want a quick cup just drop a pod in and brew but if you have a specialty coffee or prefer ground over pods this is a great option. The pod brewer works great. We’ve had several of the big K brand and numerous other single cup machines. This machine is as good as any of those machines. The differences in single cup machines is some have a water reservoir some don’t. This one has a nice, easy to remove and clean, reservoir that holds enough water for three twelve ounce cups. The reservoir does increase the size if that’s a factor for you. Another difference is the way it brews ground coffee. Most other machines have a refillable pod which works fine but can be a little difficult to clean and is limited in how much coffee you can put in. This machine has a little brew basket which is pretty easy to clean and will hold more coffee than a pod if you like your coffee really strong. The overall quality is good and operation is really simple once you go through it once. It’s turn it on, select the size, hit go. All three are touch sensors which work as they should.It’s a nice machine. If you need a pod brewer this one is worth considering.
