Amazing product.
I have owned a few of these over the last couple of years, this product is one of the best. I recently purchased the Instant Pot Instant Milk Frother, and it has quickly become an essential part of my morning routine. This 4-in-1 electric milk steamer offers exceptional versatility and convenience.Performance: The frother effortlessly creates rich, creamy foam for lattes and my morning Matcha Latte. It also has settings for heating milk without frothing, making it perfect for hot chocolates. The cold froth option is a great addition for iced beverages, and the warm thick froth setting produces a denser foam, ideal for macchiatos.Design and Ease of Use: The sleek design fits well on my kitchen counter, and the intuitive controls make it very user-friendly. Selection buttons stopped working within two months
Worked great for two months, then the selection buttons just decided to be very difficult to use. Plug it in, buttons light up, then when you want to change to a different mode, it just ignores your input completely until maybe the 30th attempt. Tried unplugging multiple times, tried different people, tried pressing softly and firmly, tried yelling at it, tried staring it down (this almost worked, I’m sure of it), tried threatening it’s loved ones, but nothing worked. It was like winning the button lottery when it finally switched modes and worked. Oh the joy! This is what I always tell my wife; those people in Ukraine moan and complain about being invaded and whatnot, but I’m guessing they have milk frothers with working buttons.The start/stop button just below the demon-possessed mode button seems to be more consistent, but even that’s not reliable. And a few times, it just randomly started cycling through modes on a bizarre escapade of hot-hot-warm-cold-hot-hot-warm-cold whirring until I unplugged it. This machine may look sexy with it’s silky smooth exterior, clean lines, and near silent operation, but make no mistake, it knows what it’s doing the same way that creepy doll knew it’s intentions on the Twilight Zone. I’m just glad I got my $40 worth out of it before it died, or perhaps “got assassinated” would be a better term.My recommendation is to bite the bullet and get the much more expensive Breville Cafe Milk Frother, which is what I did. So far, the additional cost is very clearly well worth it. If you’re making your coffee/tea at home vs. going to a shop, you’re already way ahead of the game financially. Just do it right and get the Breville. It’ll pay for itself in no time and you’ll be very happy you did.

Great frother
I was so excited to receive this product and immediately put it to use. I tried the cold foam for both whole milk and soy milk. The machine runs so quiet you can barely hear it. It was done before I finish with my Matcha blend. It produced way more foam than I expected and the quality of foam is excellent for both milk and soy milk, thick and fine. I havnt tried the other settings but just want to share how great it is for the cold drink. By the way the frother is esthetically pleasing with simple yet sophisticated design. Update: all the settings worked great, I also found the heat setting produced the perfect texture to use in a latte.

Worked great, until….
Purchased 1/30/2024, on 3/25/24 used it to frother some milk like I usually do every morning, and it worked. Went to froth milk for a second cup and it didn’t work.Before it stopped working, it did exactly what I needed. Frothed milk from two latte’s that I make for the wife and myself, and then whip up some cold from for the morning cold brew. It’s easy to use, feels like a solid piece of equipment and just stopped working.Being that my Amazon return window closed on 3/1/2024, I contacted InstaPot who is sending me a replacement.Would I buy this again, maybe, I’ll have to wait and see how the replacement does. I might consider spending a little more for a potentially better model.

Not up to long term everyday use; buy the “separating” style instead
I used this nearly every day for about 18 months, at which point the whisk stopped turning. This also happened to my previous frother from a random Amazon brand. I suspect that this is inevitable when the electronics are in the same housing as the heating chamber. I suggest you do what I’ve now done: buy a frother with a cup that separates from the base which contains the electronics. Personally I went with Maestri House. This way you can clean the cup without worrying about frying the electronics.Other complaints:- Unlike other frothers I’ve tried, this one gets slightly too hot such that soy milk begins to degrade in taste and texture.- By the time the electronics died, the nonstick coating was beginning to wear away, so it was becoming more difficult to clean. Much better to use plain stainless steel, which is easy to clean and will never wear away.

Esto es incorrecto, se debe lavar a mano sin sumergir en agua.El interior parece estar recubierto de teflon pero no se aclara. Es facil de limpiar y, en efecto, produce espuma rapidamente. This product is terrible. After a mere two weeks of use, the frother stopped heating milk. When I called Instant Pot for a replacement, the hoops I had to go through includes taking a video of how the crappy appliance isn’t heating the milk: how can a video show that? Don’t bother with this product: it’s a waste of $$$$$, customer service is as terrible as the product, and time and hassle it takes to get a replacement is a not-worth-it palaver. Shame on Instant Pot: this has turned me off all their products.
