I bought this back in 2023 and it has been great.Pros:Great torqueTakes standard screwdriver bitsLong lasting battery at room tempUSB C chargingVery durableLED light is very functionalLarge button for easy to find with glovesCons:The tools size is kind of bulkyThe case is only good for job site work and not work bench workThe button does not differentiate between clockwise and counter clockwise very wellI wish the LED was a little brighterNote:This is not a con of the tool, just a note for potential buyers. This tool mentions that it should not be used in extreme cold. It tested this out and left this tool in my garage for a few weeks while the temps were between 25 F to 5 F and the tool still works but the charge will not last for more then 10 to 20 minutes. I brought it back inside and let it warm up and it is holding a charge again. The tool still works when cold soaked but I would not recommend it. I have also dropped this electric screwdriver 20 plus times from four feet and higher and it still works as intended. I would buy this again.

If Apple was to make an electric screwdriver
I bought this screwdriver for a project I was doing. I needed a small lightweight electric screwdriver because the project had a lot of screws that needed to be screwed in and I didn’t want to use a manual one. I bought it mainly because of the reviews and the simple elegance to it. When It arrived I was shocked! The first thing that came to mind to describe this tool is “If Apple was to make an electric screwdriver, this is what it would be”. The build quality on this is very impressive, the simplicity of the design is very Apple like. The case design is ingenious. It is a very well though out product. There is one rocker button for forward and reverse, a turn knob at the top for on/off and torque setting (of which there are three choices) and a USB-C port at the bottom end for charging, that’s it. No unnecessary buttons, knobs or extra features, just plain, simple design.So how does it work? I used it on my project and was very happy with it. It has a lot more torque than I though it would. If I had to pick a negative point on this product it would be that it has so much torque it spins the screwdriver out of your hand when your done screwing something in. Unlike a drill, which when it reaches it torque limit makes a grinding sound to let you know it doesn’t have enough torque to continue turning the screw or drill bit, this has so much torque on the lowest setting it spins the screwdriver out of your hand when you reach the end. The battery seemed to last a long time, I never ran out of power on my project and used it quite a bit. it has a nice assortment of bits that come with it and they seem to be good quality as well. The case is a metal cylinder, in which the bottom holds the bits in the outer part and the center holds the tool itself. A metal cylinder sleeve fits over it and locks into place by turning it. This is the best built, simplest design I have ever seen (again, very Apple like). I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting a high quality, easy to use electric screwdriver.

A functional beauty!
Outstanding product! As a boomer who’s grown up using high-quality products for the majority of my life and seeing the deterioration of quality construction, and materials that we generally have these days, it was delightfully refreshing to find such a well-made product in today’s world at a reasonable price. It has an Apple-esq quality to it in terms of fit, feel and finish. The amount of torque and power that it has is impressive. Even the cylindrical case it came in was first class.I’m an inventor and I will be bringing a new product to market that needs to be assembled slightly by the user and is my intention to make an arrangement with Hoto whereby I can include one of these units along with my product to make it easier and more pleasurable for my clients to assemble and of course they can keep the tool which I’m sure they will love. One of the nicest products I’ve used in a long time and I highly recommend it!

What a stunning piece of kit! I ordered it yesterday and it was delivered on the same day. All retail packaging was intact and the product was brand new. Ok, first impressions: Design wise this is beautiful, unlike anything else on the market. This looks like an apple product 100%. The case and driver are very well made and feel good in the hand, the weight is not heavy but it feels reassuringly solid. The driver bits in the case cap are a great way to have everything in one place so there’s no need to scrabble around trying to find them.The LED light is nice and provides good illumination, enough to do the job. The forward and reverse buttons are conveniently located so that a good grip can be maintained along with control. The hex bits look to be of reasonable quality, I would say for everyday tasks they are good enough with a decent variety of types of bit. There is only 1 flat head bit but to be honest it does not bother me, most of the screws I would use this for would be Phillips head screws anyway.When I received it I was eager to test it, design aside this needed to perform otherwise it would just be a pretty item to look at! To test it I grabbed some Phillips head screws and found a chunk of wood. I then set the torque to position 1 and tried the device…The screw was 3 inches long and was easily driven in until about a third of the way before stopping. The torque of the device made it want to turn in my hand but once I had adjusted to provide extra grip it was Ok. Once maximum torque was reached I set the torque to position 2, it was then easily driven all the way in without any problem. For me this is good enough for almost any job in the house or most jobs on my car that require a screwdriver. The forward/reverse buttons are conveniently located so that you keep good control of the device.Suggestions for improvement would be to contour the shape to make gripping it easier and also I would have added variable speed control rather than the 1 single speed this has, this would prevent over tightening. A workaround for me was to get the screw almost all the way in and then I was able to turn the screwdriver manually for the last nip up.This is a keeper for me, design and functionality are exactly what I wanted, I recommend buying this.
