i never write reviews but this xxmas tree candle deserves it – absolute perfection, burns long and strong. filled my whole house with the perfect forest scent. expensive but worth every penny

A compellingly pungent candle.
I find the scent of this candle to be intoxicating and captivating, but it probably isn’t for everyone. It’s extremely smoky, resinous and pungent, and gives a strong sense of breathing in the fumes of a burning campfire. The notes mention pear but I don’t detect any hint of fruitiness or sweetness– but it doesn’t need that, in my opinion. I keep this candle on my desk and whenever a breeze floats by, the candle’s scent wafts towards me and washes over me. It’s sublime.

This is a very beautiful & mysterious fragrance. Maybe like asian temple incense but hard to describe; not fruity, spicy, vanilla, or too sweet. Just right. Its a slow burn & i like the simple black jar.

Smells good, but the box came damaged and the vessel was dirty and covered in wax. For $44 you’d expect to not have to clean the candle. Disappointing, but I’ll still use it

Uneven burn
Here’s the thing. I love Boy Smells. I love Cowboy Kush, but this candle was disappointing. I’m a candle girl and know allll the ways to make/help a candle burn properly to get the most life out of it. This candle and most Boy Smells candles do not burn evenly and eventually stop burning all together. For such an expensive candle I hope they can do better with the materials they use to ensure us candle people get the most life out of them. 4 stars bc I ended up tossing it before it even finished. The scent is fantastic and radiant.

Bought it as a gift for a friend, and the packaging came completely wrecked, and so did the candle (it was pretty dangerous with the glass broken! Would love for the seller to get in touch with me, i’ll need a replacement.
