This is a nice humidifier and easy to use.
My old humidifier was almost 4 years old and I decided it was time for a replacement. I reviewed several humidifiers and decided on this one because it had the features I was looking for. So far I have been very pleased with its performance. My old one was very basic and this one is easier to use and has more functions. I also like that it has an app which gives me the option of using my phone to set the humidity and allows me to schedule the time it turns on and off which I really appreciate. It also has a bigger water container which means I have to fill it less often.It’s a nice looking humidifier.It arrived in good condition and on time.

This humidifier is pretty great. I’ve had several humidifiers throughout the years and there are quite a few things. I enjoy about this and only one thing that I would change.The things I enjoy the most about this humidifier is are the capacity, how easy it is to fill it up cause of that handy dandy handle, and the super duper useful app!!! Most things like this have a crappy app, but this one rocks! It feels great controlling it while I’m in bed.I’d say the quality of this is pretty on point as well. Also, it’s pretty to look at. It has a nightlight that you can turn on and off as well.This humidifier does indeed humidify our bedroom, I’ve had less dry nose and mouth and eyes whenever I use it throughout the night.The only thing I can’t figure out is How to keep my carpet from getting drenched when it is on the highest setting. It’s a work in progress. This isn’t the only humidifier I’ve had issues with when it comes to carpet being drenched – so I think it’s a user error.

Unit arrived, within 24 hr it needed a call to DREO Customer Service. A person with a very poor command of English advised I needed to disassemble and remove/replace float switch. That worked.Two days later, a new error code E1 arrives. Called the Help line and was put into a waiting line and after holding was hung up upon after being advised to go online to FAQ. I’d already checked error code and it suggests a sensor that likely requires return/replacement.Called help line today, got a new person (sorry, but poor use of English made it difficult to communicate) and was told to empty tank, and dry it out for 48 hr then try again. If replacement is needed, ship it back and 7 to 10 days for replacement.Yeah, no.So, back to Amazon it goes. DREO should have sent a replacement w. 2-3 day shipping and accepted defective unit back since I would now have a packing box. But, nope, so I am choosing another brand since I still need humidification of a room, but I won’t be buying Dreo, and you shouldn’t either.EDIT: so, the story continues. I received a call from a CS person at DREO that expressed what seemed to be true concern about my experience. She asked if I would be willing to try another unit and post my reply, whether favorable or not. I couldn’t pass that up. Also, she provided a phone number to contact her with any issues.A replacement humidifier arrived, and I filled it and pressed the button. It began to work as it should and has continued to run without issue for a day now. I guess I did just get a bad unit the first time and what is more important is how the company, DREO, replied to my displeasure. Apparently, they read the reviews on Amazon and cared enough to make it right by me. It isn’t just all about making a mistake, but how the recovery goes from there. So, the unit operates, is quiet, seems to have an accurate metering of humidity and I am now a satisfied consumer. Jane, if you are reading this, I appreciate you following through and fixing my issue.
