My Opinion –
Return for a defect may not be as easy for a needed replacement of a defective item.
This is my second set. I bought the first was fine however, the second one of the six lids looks like a manufacturer defect and has a strange curvy crack see photo. Seems a hassle to return, though. I’d have to bring the whole set back rather than have them just send me a lid as there’s no way to make such a request it has to be the entire order which is a large box. So the return is not an easy process for just a replacement lid as there’s no photo for me to attach to the return process maybe they’ll read this and get back to me. Clearly a manufactured defect.
