Wonderful for foam at home, but there is a learning curve!
I used to make all 3 options: cold foam, steamed milk, and frothy foam milk.Pros:First, all 3 uses all turned out very yummy! secondly, Very easy to clean.Third, The buttons work as the instructions say (nice and clear).Forth, there is an included manual which has recipes – my daughter made the hot chocolate and really enjoyed it.Fifth, Heats to about 110/115, Which I think is perfect for sipping.best pro: I can make cold foam instead of running out the Starbucks daily 🎉!!!Cons: I’m taking a star off because It was very unclear how to remove the spring. It actually looks like there should be a second part that was not included when you’re reading through the manual. But I was able to pop the spring off easily and then pop it up on later. So it’s not a huge concern.But secondly, it was the perfect size for cold foam but only produced a very small cup of hot chocolate/ steamed milk. I used the small portion of steam milk to top off my coffee which was very nice but my daughter had to make a double portion of hot chocolate, to fit a normal sized cup. Additionally, Even though my daughter layered the ingredients as instructed, we had to run it twice to thoroughly mix up the cocoa. It also then heated it to 139 which was fine.Finally, There are lines on the inside to indicate max fill, however the foam one is a little hard to see (as it is lower in the container )and if you are not making a recipe from the booklet you kind of have to wing it and hope that you get the ratios correct. That’s what I did to make cold foam and it worked out well but it could be a challenge for someone who is a little unsure of what to do.With that said, I still give it four stars because now that we’ve used it for a few times, I think it’s going to be a favorite in our house!

An incredible Milk Frother!!
This is an item that I did not know I needed until I tried it!! My goodness, how have I made it without this product. I love coffee and I love hot chocolate. This milk frother makes the best hot chocolate I have ever consumed. It is so perfect tasting, even better than coffee shops. The frother comes with some recipes and I first tried it with the hot chocolate recipe. It was perfectly blended and warmed. I will comment on the temperature because I consider the temperature what is called “kids temp” at coffee shops. When finished, you can immediately drink the hot chocolate. You do not need to wait and let it cool. So it is perfect for children and adults who do not want to wait for an overly hot drink to cool. My husband wanted his very hot so I put it in the microwave. I loved mine at the temp it is finished at. The milk frothed works perfectly as well. I was thinking this is another appliance that I will only use occasionally but I am using it everyday. My family likes creamer in our coffee which cools the coffee down. Now I froth the half and half or milk and it’s perfect when added to our coffee. My daughter loves the cold foam. Now I make our own each morning!! It prepares everything you want very quickly too. This is a great item to have. Also, Cuisinart is an outstanding brand. My coffee maker is the same brand and is several years old but works perfectly. The price is right for such a great brand. The frother is very easy to clean. Remove it from the base and hand wash.I recommend this item highly. Get one and enjoy using it everyday.

I didn’t think I needed a milk frother until I tried this one, and now I use it every day. It heats and froths milk fast, and the foam comes out smooth and creamy just like a coffee shop drink. I’ve been using it mostly for coffee and hot chocolate, and both turn out really good. The temperature is drinkable right away, which I like, but if you want it extra hot you can just microwave it for a few seconds. It’s also great for making cold foam, and it does that just as easily.Cleaning it is simple since the inside wipes clean and detaches from the base. The size is fine for one or two servings, but I wouldn’t mind if it held a little more. The fill lines can be hard to see at first, but once you get used to it, it’s no problem. For how quick it works and how consistent the results are, this has turned into one of my favorite kitchen gadgets.

I KNOW this is a pricey milk frother but DANG it is good. It’s sturdy, quiet, quick frothing, quick heating and incredibly easy to clean. It is not battery operated, it has a nice sturdy cord to plug in. Speaking of the cord: I love that it has the cord rolled up under the base for easy storage. It’s sleek and looks great on my countertop by my coffee bar. I’ve had quiet a few frothers of varying price points because I use them constantly with my coffee, and I feel this Cuisinart frother is worth the price. I got it for myself as a treat and I’m happy I did.
