Affordable, Responsive and Easy to Use
I recently purchased these lightbulbs, and they have been a great value. I was a little skeptical to take a chance on them since there are other options by more “well known” brands, but I’ve genuinely had no issues with these. Not only do they look like regular bulbs (so they fit seamlessly into any fixture), but the AiDot app lets you customize the color, mood lighting and brightness to match any occasion—whether it’s a cozy warm glow for movie night or vibrant colors for a party. The app is intuitive and easy to use, making it simple to adjust brightness and settings. I also was easily able to link the bulbs to my Google Home so I could control them through there. Highly recommend these lightbulbs for anyone looking for affordable, high quality lighting!

Worked straight-away with Home Assistant. No cloud required.
The most interesting part, to me: Using the (still beta) Matter integration in Home Assistant, this bulb took less than a minute to set up. It was impressively smooth.I did it all with my Android pocket computer. It was easy: Add new Matter Device, scan QR code on bulb using phone’s camera, and… after a bit of a pause it was right there, ready to do stuff with like anything else in Home Assistant.From there, I was able to “share” the device with Alexa (again, using the Matter integration) so that both systems can talk to it independently, and all without using any cloud services.That said: Last I checked, Home Assistant’s Matter integration doesn’t work on 32-bit installations (which is the default way of running on a Raspberry Pi 3). Regardless of your hardware, make sure you have your ducks in a row and the Matter integration installed before buying.—Now, how does it work as a light bulb? It seems fine. It does the expected RGB tricks. It provides a nicely-variable color temperature for white. I don’t have a way to measure CRI, but color rendering seemed to be just fine. It produces about the same amount of light as other smart bulbs that claim to be 800 lumens.And it’s surprisingly compact — it’s substantially smaller than my first smart bulbs are, and a bit smaller than a TP Link Tapo L530.—Will I buy one again? Maybe, maybe not. I bought this because I needed another smart bulb, and because it provided me with a fairly inexpensive way to get my feet wet with Matter. But since I’m also rather invested in Home Assistant and I like tinkering with things, I prefer buying bulbs that come with ESPHome pre-installed just for their hack value.

Works great, easy to set up
First of all, I was contacted by AiDot about this product after purchase. Given extra bulbs for reviewing it for 5 stars. The Lightbulbs I got don’t even have the labels on them, I’m unsure if they’re legit. All fine and dandy, appeared to be working well. Speaking of AiDot, I was progressively led on to doing purchases for reimbursement. Specifically with an air purifier by WeLov. It appears I was legitimately reimbursed that time. However, more requests came and they got sketchier. Like purchase this product on Temu, we will reimburse you on Amazon. Not to mention, I was invited to a private discord for product testers. I won a contest on AiDot app and on the Discord. Never received either product I supposedly won. Contacted customer support multiple times, refused to acknowledge me most of the time. One time I got a response, they said the testing products were all gone and nothing they could do about it. I’m not even sure I believe the products are legit anymore that I’ve gotten from AiDot. The light bulbs I got don’t work as well as they did in the beginning, however, I’ll be testing them on other smart apps now that AiDot has ruined my opinion of them. Let me tell you AiDot is a joke, and refuses to take any accountability for their products. I hope this doesn’t get deleted so people actually get warned. I frankly wouldn’t be surprised if the more frequent phishing for information on lost package/pay a small reshipping fee emails aren’t connected. Buy at your own risk, I hope manufacturers of this product were blissfully unaware that their partner smart-app (AiDot) is doing this but that’s just my two cents.Update 2:Finally, someone took accountability for their errors with me. However, I have some mixed feelings about things still. I was asked to edit my reviews after they corrected them. I felt like I was almost paid off to change my opinion. Again, the lightbulbs are nice. It was the customer service from AiDot that was where the issues were. Take that as you will.

Great color bulbs
Easy set up in app to wifi. Nice color selection and I enjoy the bright light option. I put one in the doorway entrance for halloween 🎃 orange spooky color it’s fun! No delay from app / control switching colors. Nice quality and these are compatible in recessed ceilings, lamps, and outdoor motion lighting.
