Sadly It Arrived With A Broken Saucer
I’m heartsick. I’ve been putting this review off waiting for a solution to appear, but I sadly don’t see one presenting itself. I ordered this beautiful ceramic pot, and when it arrived the saucer was shattered into at least 30 pieces. It had a serious impact along the way. The planter itself is fine but I will have to find a substitute for the tray. I have searched Amazon and the Internet with no luck for a way to contact the seller/manufacturer. However I’ve decided to review it anyway to 1) alert folks to a pattern of damage discerned from others’ reviews as well as my own experience and 2) let people know what fine looking pots these people produce and offer.This is my second 6 inch ceramic pot from POITONRU and it is just as great as the first. As sophisticated as the previous gray pot, it has a kind of a primitive geometric design to it with debossed boxes and bars all around the pot. It is an off white and in spots one can see the material behind the glaze for yet more texture, tint and to match the saucer which is rimmed in the exposed material. The cylindrical pot rests in a matching saucer with 4 legs to keep it out of any excess water. They also keep the pot stable. Enough small sticky pads are provided with the saucer to ensure that no scratches will occur to your furniture.The manufacturer has included a hole in the bottom for aeration and drainage to promote healthy roots. Also included is a “drainage net” to place over the hole to ensure that only water gets out. Very little soil mix is allowed to escape. Sitting at 6.9 inches it is a heavy pot made specifically for both indoor or outdoor use. The glaze wraps inside the top opening of the pot just enough to meet the soil without showing the unglazed surface (which is a pet peeve of mine).Like it’s gray cousin this pot has style, substance and functionality. I am going to give 5 Stars to this pot because I am not here to report on packaging issues but rather the item itself. This pot is absolutely grand and deserves all the Stars it can have.

I really like this planter! The ceramic feels high quality and sturdy, and the modern embossed design looks great in my living room.
