Super easy! Works with wet or dry food
Love it! Uses one AA batterySuper easy. Comes with ice pack.Simply fill the bowls with food either wet dry or a mix. Note the time you are setting and simply turn the knob timer to the number of hours you want the lid to pop open. (4 hours from when you fill or 8 etc)Just what I needed!

Great for my special needs cat.
Love it and so does the cat. Had no problem getting her to use it. It works as described. She has to eat 4 times a day at regular intervals. With the timer I don’t have to get up in the middle of the night. And if I should have to be gone for an extended period during the day we are covered. Which is one reason I bought the C200. I can set each dish for a different time if need be. It doesn’t take up any more room than her conventional dishes. My vet suggested this after a specialist told her about it.

Cat Warming Up To It
I’ve only had it a week. Day 1 was great, my cat ate everything. Day 2, I came home and it was open but not even touched. Not even his treat. hmm. I showed it to him and he backed up like it was a cat bomb. Went through the whole, “it’s ok” routine. “Its your favorite”. lol. He warmed up to it. I set it in the middle of the night to try some treats and he had eaten in the morning. I think it might have popped open while he was nearby so maybe that’s why he was scared on day 2. Day 3 trial he ate out of both trays and they were set for diff times. Still working through it but I’m thankful. It does not have an alarm or a ding or anything which helps as my cat hates things like the toaster oven ding. I’m really happy for the price. I might buy a second one in case of battery going dead? Like load one back up tray. Or just toss a couple of crumbs in the second one. IDK. In thought.

We can’t leave food out because our pup doesn’t know when to stop eating! This automatic feeder is perfect if you are going to be out late or you’re taking an overnight trip and you need to feed your pet. We put food in it to do a trial run & our curious 7lbs Yorkie pawed at, scooted it across the floor, & came very close to flipping it over! If your pet paws at the dial just right, it could be possible to turn the dial. We ended up having to secure it to a board – which is super easy but you have to provide your own screws. It is very quiet. If you put your ear close to the dial you can hear it ticking like a clock to ensure it’s on/working.My only complaint is that it can’t be turned off. Only way to be off is to remove the battery. Even after the feeder door has opened, the dial timer continues to turn. For us, we don’t use the feeder every day so we remove the battery to preserve the battery.To remove it from the board, just rotate the plastic clip and lift up.

This feeder works well. I have to go into the office two days a week and one of my cats has to get her medication on a schedule. This allows me to take care of her and keep my boss happy, too.The quality is good and it’s very quiet.This dial timer has a *little* bit of play so if you need down to the *minute* timing, this probably won’t be your best option but it’s close enough for me. I can usually get it within five or ten minutes of my target.Overall, a great purchase!

Absolute Junk! Don’t waste your money!
I would love to give negative stars if I could. While understood that this is nothing high tech – it has a simple wind timer release, I didn’t have that high of expectations. But the unit has a tiny ice block, there is absolutely no insulation to help keep the cold in the unit. The claim that this will keep food cold for 48 hours is an absolute joke! Maybe an hour at best. And the timer doesn’t work! I have cats that only eat wet food and wanted to have an option for them while being away from home for long hours. Unfortunately – this piece of junk let them go hungry! It NEVER opened! Brand new battery, previously tested the unit to make sure it did what it was supposed to do – but apparently a longer time setting made it useless. My poor kitties went without dinner… One timer had wound down from 6 hours to 2 and the other one was still on the 6 I set it at. Don’t waste your money. Cheap, no insulation to help keep the food cold, timers don’t work. Sadly going to end up in a landfill…. what a waste…

Alright for the price. Timers not great.
This works good enough. We have two diabetic cats. We have been trying to find a way to feed them in the event we can’t be home. We have done a few trial runs using it while home, also with a camera on it. The timers are not accurate. They are like the old school kitchen turn dial timers. It’s impossible to set them both so that they open at the same time. Having two cats, I’d prefer they open at the same time so they aren’t fighting over one side.The ice pack held up long enough (8 hrs). We purchased the stainless insert bowls. We started with refrigerated food in an attempt to extend the ice pack life. I also taped bells to the tops to get their attention. I don’t think the bells were necessary. They could smell the food through it and were curious and waiting near it come “lunch time” anyways.

Best of the many different brands I have used
I absolutely love this feeder. The dial does not have preset detents so I can set it where I want it. It is easy to set an reasonably accurate time once you get the hang of it. It uses 1 battery, which is easily removable. There is one large ice pack that spans both trays and it stays cold longer than the other brands I have. The trays are very smooth and shiny, which makes cleaning them easy. Do not use anything abrasive or it will ruin the surface. There is a clip to connect the lids to open together if you need this feature. Overall, this is the best of the many different brands I have used.
