You will use it more than you think.
I am a little surprised at how often I reach for this brush. It has mostly replaced my sponge for cleaning dishes or pans under running water, as my hands stay dry and the stiffness of the bristles works very well. It also does well cleaning my coffee carafe with a little dish soap, or cleaning coffee cups with a little spin. It does a good first pass on a cast iron skillet. It gets the oatmeal scum or rice residue out of my pots. It also is a reasonable vegetable scrubber. I like the plastic-free aspect in the new era of concern over nanoplastic exposure in foods and wastewater. It is well made and the proportions are pleasing. The long handle is never a hindrance and occasionally a big advantage. (like for the coffee carafe). If it wears out in a couple of years of daily use that is ok, I would buy another one.

Well made and eco-friendly product! No plastic!
I purchased the brush specifically to clean water bottles that cannot go into the dishwasher. I like that it is eco-friendly and made from German Beechwood and hemp bristles. No plastic on this tool! It feels and looks like a well-made, quality product. The bristles are a bit stiff but I do like the extra long 14 inch handle. Make sure to read the description. I missed the part about it being for wide mouth jars, tumblers and glasses. It still works on smaller mouth water bottles but it takes a bit more effort to get the bristles through the opening. Cleaning is simple. After using the brush, I typically rise it with hot water and let it air dry before putting in away.

Great as a water bottle brush
I think this brush is a good quality and the size is perfect for my water bottle (which is so narrow at the top that I can only wash it with a brush). My understanding is that it is eco-friendly and I highly recommend it.

Works-but what is that smell??
I wanted something natural & not plastic. This works great, but there is quite a strange smell when it gets wet. Thankfully it goes away when dry, but weird

I really like the brush, not too soft (like most plastic ones)

Made from fresh whole plant stalks (not desirable), instead of cleaned and processed hemp fiber
I bought this brush to clean my water bottle. I wanted a brush with natural bristle material instead of plastic, bc natural bristles scour the interior surface of the bottle more vigorously than plastic bristles can accomplish with the same amount of elbow grease. The description says the bristles are hemp, and i assumed that meant it would be the same type of hemp fibers as are used to make hemp rope. That’s not the case though. These were made with whole plant stalks (I’m assuming hemp stalks) that are pretty much straight off the plant. There’s even about 5% green plant material comprising the bristles. Normally hemp is processed to separate the desirable fibers from the rest of the plant material. The bristles in this brush however were presumably made from the whole plant stalks , not just the fibers. So when i used the brush for the first time, i had to vigorously wash the brush head for about an hour to get rid of as much of the non-fiber material as possible. The water i washed it in was left dark brown and full of spongy non-fibrous plant matter after each of the first several washings. Eventually after about 30 washings which included brushing the bristles with a fine toothed metal comb to scrape off everything that wasn’t fiber, i was able to get it so the wash water was just a light yellow color and mostly free from extraneous plant material. That cleaning process removed about 50% of the bristle material from the brush’s head, leaving the brush head a ghost of its original volume. I should have returned it, but I’m disabled and the process of returning something is often more work than just making the best of a bad product as was the case in this instance. This is the wrong brush to use for cleaning water bottles or for cleaning anything that will make contact with food or drink, bc even after the rigorous cleaning i gave it, the brush still excretes acrid compounds which foul the otherwise pure water i put in my bottle. It would work well for scrubbing boots, tools, or anything like that. I just wish the seller explained that, instead of describing it as a brush for cleaning bottles, jars, and dishes, bc it absolutely should not be used for that. To be fair, the description does state that it’s made from “fresh hemp,” but in over 40 years of using hemp products, I’ve never encountered hemp for an application like this that wasn’t cleaned of its extraneous plant matter before being sold. Live and learn.

A Great Bottle Washer
Finally, we have found a solid heavy duty bottle washer that will last. We are so pleased to have discovered this brush. We like the length of the handle and the stiffness of the bristles. It really does the job well. Highly recommend this if you want a solid heavy duty bottle washing brush.

No entra en ninguna botella, ni siquiera con boca ancha. Si lo intentas queda deformado. No sirve para nada.
