    Exactly what you need
I’ve used this for about 4 years until I accidentally broke it by dropping it! It is perfect, simple, easy to clean. I use a scale because I’m just that type of person: I put in 180g of milk (about 3/4 a cup); I heat it in my microwave on high for 1 min 40 sec; I pump it for 30 seconds; I let it stand for 1 min. And every time it’s perfect froth. Buying again!

My New Best Friend In The Coffee Business.
I’ve been making on a daily basis cappuccinos now for several years. I started out with all in ones that did everything from the coffee to steam frothing the milk right into the mix. I got tired of them breaking and trying to keep them fixed, so I went to everything manual. Best move ever… I use stove top mocha pots and mostly a manual frothier. While at some relatives this past year, we were going to play with coffee but they could not find their frothier. So while at a store there, I went shopping. This was the only one they had. To be honest, looking at it it didn’t really trip my trigger. But after getting it to their house and giving it a go, I was shocked and how well it did, how much it made and the quality of the froth. Needless to say, when I got back home, I ordered one on Amazon. The first one came broke. I sent it back and ordered again. The second one was fine, and I’ve been plunging away ever since! You can pour a full 8 ounces, maybe a bit more into the container and microwave it in the container, then plunge. Cleanup is easy. The first thing I do is rinse it off, then I put a bit of dish soap in it, put some hot water in it from the tap and plunge it a couple of times. I let it set while till I’m done drinking. I re-plunge and will use some of the spare soap suds to clean everything else up before I clean this. It’s quick and easy. Needless to say, I’ve been very pleased with this thing.

Unfortunately the glass is fragile but a great system
I love this system after going through a half dozen stovetop and electric frothers, this really works. Unfortunately the glass is very fragile. I bumped in on my sink faucet and the beak tip broke. I filed it down a bit so it won’t cut. I still use it though. One thing I haven’t seen mentioned is that fresh heated milk works best. I use whole or 2% milk. Micro heat it medium for about 1 to 2 minutes, cool it a bit and then pump it up at a good pace and not stopping for 2 minutes. The best froth, even better than stove top! After two or more days the milk is not so fresh and the foam becomes bubbly. I store my milk in my fridge on a shelf towards the back at 40° not more. If you leave it in the door it gets warmer due to opening and closing especially in summer months or warmer areas. I wish they used better tempered glass.

    Simple can sometimes be better
I recently purchased this milk frother because I wanted an easy way to make frothed milk at home for matcha lattes (or matcha “clouds” in the case of this frother), hot chocolate, and as a healthier whipped cream alternative. I am very happy with this milk frother and would highly recommend it to others. The frother is incredibly easy to use – just pump the plunger up and down about halfway in the glass jar and velvety smooth froth starts forming within 30-45 seconds. I’ve used it with both whole milk and nonfat milk. The whole milk whips up faster given the higher fat content, but it works great with nonfat too. I have not tried it with any alternative milks. The texture of the frothed milk is thicker and creamier than other electric frothers I’ve tried. It’s smooth and velvety rather than airy and foamy. I also love that you can microwave the glass jar if you want to heat up the milk first before frothing.Cleaning couldn’t be simpler with these 2 parts – the plunger and the glass. A quick immediate rinse is all it takes. It looks a bit like a french press but doesn’t function as one due to the difference of the plunger design. The materials seem durable, though being glass I wouldn’t want to drop it.Overall, for the affordable price this manual frother is fantastic for making frothed milk at home. The process is quick and easy, and the froth is smooth, thick, and velvety.

    Simple, effective
After going through two electric wand frothers and one that sits on a plate and spins the milk, I decided on this one because it wouldn’t die and it was easy to use. Pour milk in, raise and lower handle until milk reaches desired frothiness. You can sweeten the milk or flavor it before you froth it as well. This thing is so easy to use and creates the perfect foam. The ONLY gripe I have is that the glass is…well, glass. Thinner than some glass so more breakable. Just be careful with it. I’m purchasing my second one because the first got knocked out of my dish drainer (gotta love kids). Definitely recommend this though.

Good Results, High Effort, but Messy
This frother delivers good froth—on par with electric models—but demands a serious investment of time, technique, and patience.Design & Build:- The fan mesh, lid, and cradle are plastic, not metal or clad like Bodum’s French presses—surprising, and somewhat disappointing for durability expectations.- It feels more fragile than it likely is, but the concern is always present during use.Performance:- Frothing requires intensity, especially with cold milk, and the lid fit is only moderately secure. Expect splatter unless working over a sink, with a cloth, or inside a containment basin.- When used carefully, it produces consistently airy, high-quality froth—but preparation is labor-intensive.Verdict:Effective results for those willing to put in the effort. If you value ease of use or durability, consider alternatives; if you enjoy the hands-on process, it rewards the time you invest.

    1. Works like a charm. (I’m using cold milk)2. Take note to use low-fat milk. Else you almost can’t froth the milk.3. It doesn’t work with coconut milk (dairy-free). I’ll try again using low fat coconut milk.4. A number of other reviews mentioned that the jar is made of glass. When I ordered, I didn’t understand what’s the fuss about it. But once I use it, I understand why so many fellow customers mentioned about the glass material. It feels easy to break. Have to handle with extra extra care. Would be great if there’s a plastic equivalent since I don’t use hot milk.

I have owned several of these milk frothers as I am very clumsy and break them. They are so good for heating and frothing milk for lattes. Easy to use, clean, etc. Highly recommended.

This thing is amazing! I liked it so much I purchased one for work as well. Works fantastic and is a great bargain for the price when compared to the electronic versions. It also works much better then any of the stick wand frothers – of which I have tried many. I use 2% milk and it doubles in volume in about 30 seconds of very easy manipulation. I also really like the fact that it is glass, so I can heat the milk and froth it in the same container……one less dish to wash! If you are worried about the performance of this frother or the “work” involved in a “manual” frother, don’t.
