Bamboo cutting board set
So far I love the look of these on my kitchen counter. There is a slight smell but it has faded a bit after using and washing a couple times.

Gorgeous cutting board set with charcuterie set up on the back!
This bamboo board set exceeds expectations. I’ll jump right into the best surprise of all. The backside of these cutting boards are designed for use as charcuterie boards! I had to go back to this listing just to see if I had missed that info, but it appears it simply wasn’t mentioned. See pictures below for a view of the back of each. Now I know any cutting board can be used for charcuterie but I can’t be the only one that struggles having one side of the board remain more aesthetically pleasing, free from knife marks. The visible cracker tray on the backside of these boards is sure to assist my teens in realizing which side is for cutting, thus preserving our “nice” side.The cutting boards arrived in great condition, neatly packaged in a nice box that would offer a great presentation for anyone receiving these as a gift. Included were detailed care instructions as well as anti-slip pads one can attach if desired. I appreciate that decision was left up to the owner. The tray holder is what initially sold me in this set. It’s perfect for keeping board upright so they can dry correctly and also for storing. These boards look beautiful displayed together out on the counter yet the holder is also quite functional for helping store with easy access inside a cabinet. The trays also have a corner slot that allows for hanging the board if one desired.The bamboo quality appears terrific and no rough edges were detected upon arrival. I did note the instructions recommended a light sanding with sandpaper if or when such was to occur, however. The small cut in hand hold regions on the sides are perfect for helping lift the boards off the counter without making a mess. I appreciate the hand holds were designed in a way that keeps board clean up effortless. The color is a a mix of beautiful, rich warm browns. The first picture is with my normal kitchen lights and I feel is the true representation, as are the listing pictures. The last picture showcasing the backside was taken with only natural lighting about a hour after the boards were washed. I feel they appear a little more red in that picture than they are but wanted to keep all pictures unaltered for best representation. Whether you’re looking for a great gift or a reason to toss your old plastic boards, that are adding microplastics into your foods, this set seems to have everything one could ask for!

Pretty but slight odor
The ONLY reason I’m taking 1 start away is because they have a bit of a smell to them. It’s not bad but it is kind of strong. Not sure if this is because of an oil coating or what. I’ve washed them and put mineral oil on them and it helped a little so maybe with washing and use it will go away. I’ve ordered other bamboo items that don’t have the smell so not sure. Other than that, I love them. They are great and the larger 2 have cut outs on the back side for presentation boards. They feel sturdy and solid but not heavy. And I love that they come with a display block. I can leave them on my counter and they look so pretty.

Not the highest quality but look nice
When I first opened the set I was really impressed but after a closer look I could see where the wood is splintering in some small areas, primarily on the back. I still use them daily as they are so easy to reach for sitting on my counter. They are very functional and look really nice in the holder. There was no odd smell upon opening either. If they didn’t have the splintered areas I would have rated 5 stars.
