An Impressive Product
Simply the very best feeder out there. I had to get two of them. The cameras and recording feature are a life saver, considering I don’t typically keep camera footage inside of the home.Being able to monitor my cats and portion their food has not only saved money in food but has also helped gain more control of their overall diet. My cats were slowly gaining weight to unhealthy levels and are finally trimming down.The app is nice, works as expected. If I was being picky I’d want the cameras to somehow connect to my NVR. That’s being far too picky.Overall, I’d say this product exceeds expectations for its price point. The stainless steel bowls are a huge deal for me, because it helps prevent bacteria & is easy to clean.Thank you.

Great product. Cats took to it pretty quick
I love the idea of having two separate food dispensers. My cats took to it real quick. It hold quite a bit of food. They aren’t overeating anymore. I like the ability to set how many servings allotted per feeding and also the ability to change the feeding frequency too. It was easy to set up and functions as advertised. Great product. I may end up purchasing another one as a back up or when traveling.

Easy to program
This is great. It is easy to program with instructions on the feeder itself, so you don’t need to look anything up on the net or search for the instructions! Bowls are removable, so they can be washed without taking the feeder apart. It would be nice if the light could be dimmed a little and the beeping sound lowered. My only two complaints.

Love love this! Easy to set up. Makes my life so much more convenient. My dogs hear the bowls fill and go running! I tried the cameras and they are clear but I’m using it for dogs (Boston Terriers) I just see big foreheads while they are eating lol. But I can see them walk up to it and the cameras work great!

This thing is amazing. I’ve only used it on the porch but it stays really dry and fresh. The lid fits very snugly so there’s no shenanigans by our feral friends, or the friends of our feral friends. It’s fun watching them on the camera take turns. I like that I can see if we have more than our regular one or two and can dispense food if needed. This one only takes double A batteries so I don’t know how long they will last without electric but I’ll find out because I need these rascals off my porch. I can’t stress enough how fantastic and air tight it is. No moisture inside whatsoever. I love that I can adjust portion size through the app from wherever I am, and I know is it’s ridiculous but I love that the measurements are in “num-nums.” I’ve been using it outdoors for nearly 8 months. It was very affordable, especially for the features (hello night vision and ability to talk to your friends from far away?). I never write reviews and I feel bad about that but I can’t say enough about this feeder. I bought two others that were terrible. One was twice the cost and went right back to Amazon. The other one that was relatively functional didn’t last at all and took in moisture so all the food molded. The biggest down size to this one is it’s difficult to clean the dispenser part and you can’t take it apart with emptying it first. I’m about to test out “battery only” so I hope it doesn’t disappoint. I don’t expect it to because I’ve brought it inside before and forgotten to take out the batteries and it kept dispensing food, all over the floor! User error…. It looks like they’ve made some changes to the model, I hope they measure up. Oh and it holds a ton of food.

Easy to setup, looks nice, works great, and holds a good amount of food. I love that it has two bowls so each kitty has their own food to eat and they don’t have to take turns to eat.

Awesome Dual Feeder
So far this has been a great cat feeder for my two growing kittens. It was easy to program and my cats love it……they come flying through the house whenever they hear the “beep” before the portions dispense. It provides peace of mind knowing that my cats are being fed when I am not home. I highly recommend!

Very useful and reliable
Like it. Slowed down how much my cat could eat at one time. He would gorge and puke after eating from his normal bowl. With this I am assured he has food when I am gone. I wish it had a notification that the container was empty. You get a notification when it releases food. You can set up your own schedule via an app.

I’ve been using the Frienhund pet feeder for a few weeks now, and while I had a small issue with constant beeping, the app and feeding functions worked perfectly from the start.What really impressed me was the customer service. Roya and Paul were quick to respond, offered clear troubleshooting steps, and even sent me two spare stainless steel bowls free of charge after I asked where I could buy more. That level of support is rare.The device is solid, reliable, and user-friendly once properly connected to 2.4G WiFi. The beeping stopped after moving it closer to the router, just like they advised.Highly recommend both the product and the company behind it.

Ich hatte vor diesem Futterspender einen von einer anderen Marke. Ich weiß den Namen nicht mehr. Letzte Woche hatte er angefangen durchgängig zu piepen. Da die Garantie abgelaufen war, habe ich versucht ihn zu reparieren. Leider erfolglos. Zwei 750g Tüten hatten nicht rein gepasst. Ich musste mir also immer was einfallen lassen.Als dieser futterautomat gekommen ist, habe ich ihn ohne Anleitung zusammen bauen können. Also sehr simpel aufgebaut. Schade, dass der stromanschluss kein USB C ist. Es ist zwar ein USB Kabel, aber mit rundem Anschluss. Die Kombi hab ich auch noch nicht vorher gesehen. Aber was solls. Zusammen gebaut und ans Netz gehängt. Kaum ist der automat hochgefahren, hat er angefangen in etwa im 30s Takt rum zu Jammern, dass er kein WLAN hat. Aufgrund der Lautsprecherqualität oder der Sprache konnte ich es nicht ansatzweise verstehen.Ohne WLAN also eine schlechte Idee, den Spender zu nutzen.Ich hab dann die App runter geladen, mich registriert und anschließend habe ich versucht den Automat hinzuzufügen. Es wäre schneller gegangen, wenn ich nicht 5 mal versucht hätte den code vom Futterbehälter zu scannen. Der benötigte qr Code ist auf der Unterseite des Gerätes. Als ich den gefunden hatte, ging alles ganz schnell. Ich habe Futterzeiten eingetragen und schon ging es los. Mein Kater hat keine Berührungsängste vor dem neuen Automaten, obwohl er eher ängstlich ist.Die Aufnahmefunktion habe ich nicht getestet, da mein Kater beim Geräusch des fallenden Trockenfutters sofort hin rennt. In anbetracht der unverständlichen Ansage ist es vllt. auch besser so.Seitdem ich den Automaten eingerichtet habe, macht er verlässlich seinen Job. Wenn mein Kater zwischendurch Hunger hat, kann ich ihm 5g über die App geben. Das reicht ihm dann auch immer.Fazit: Der Automat hat kleine Schwächen, aber auch große Stärken. Insbesondere die versiegelung nach der Futtergabe ist sehr gut. Mit dem Trocknungsmittel im Deckel ist das Trockenfutter immer frisch. Ich selbst könnte meinen Kater nicht annähernd immer so frisches Futter geben. Entweder mangelt es an Zeit, oder Anwesenheit.Ich bin also trotz der kleinen Schwächen in anbetracht des Preises mehr als zufrieden. Mein Kater übrigens auch. 😉
