Effortless Connection to Alexa
I was honestly surprised by how effortless the setup was for this smart power strip. The moment I plugged it in and connected it to my Wi-Fi, Alexa instantly recognized and configured it. I didn’t have to do a thing. Each outlet can be controlled individually, which makes it great for managing lamps, chargers, and small appliances without extra hubs or apps. The added USB-A and USB-C ports are super convenient for keeping my phone and tablet charged. Overall, it’s a really smooth, well-integrated option if you’re already using Alexa.

Great Smart Power Strip for Home or Office
This Amazon Basics Smart Plug Power Strip is a great addition to any smart home setup. The three individually controlled outlets work perfectly with Alexa, letting me turn devices on or off by voice or on a schedule. The two USB-A ports are a nice bonus for charging phones or other devices without needing an adapter. Setup was fast and easy through the Alexa app. It’s compact, reliable, and ideal for managing multiple devices from one spot.

Petty good product.
So positives here are that you can set a routine with alexa. And it works down side tou have to have the action be “toggle on or off” and if you want an announcement touch need to add an additional action. I think it would be way easier is when your setting up the toggle switch ask would you like and announcement or notification for this? But thats an alexa app issue not a product issue. Other than extra steps it works well i purchased it to set up a schedule for my rescue bearded dragon. He likes that I’m not disturbing him so much. Now he can settle in better.

Works as intended!
Bought this strip to turn all my reptile tank lights on and off every day. It works great while i’m here, however I went out of town for three weeks and it did not work consistently. I set up a routine to turn on and off once a day, and it would sometimes turn on and then not back off again. Also, I may just be missing something, but so far every time i move it, it requires me to reconnect and set up each outlet again. Overall if you stay in one place it should work great. Would buy again!

Best thing I have purchased for my Alexa
This is one of the best things I have ever bought to expand my Alexa network. It set up automatically and all I had to do was rename the outlets. I have control over everything in the room now.Fabulous.

No issues. Plugged it in and when I went to my Alexa app it had added all the outlets automatically. No issues. Nice to have smart feature for plant lights on a timer. This beats setting old fashioned manual timer.

This surge protector is great for the price. I have 3 plug-in lights that I wanted to control individually with switches or buttons, and this works perfectly with capacity to spare. I was apprehensive when I purchased it, since there are no reviews mentioning a wall-mount, but I was pleased to see that it has standard wall mounting holes on the backside compatible with screws or nails. Overall I am very pleased.

This works great! I’ve got my whole office setup attached to this strip (save for my pc). I have automated my desk so that it shuts off my lights and monitors at a certain hour to make sure I get the hint to go to bed LOL. It’s great because you can program and name each individual plug! So I can tell Alexa to turn on one thing at a time. It’s also been helping me to conserve power because I often forget to turn things off when I’m not using them :)I’ve also got another smart plug in the kitchen that I use to heat up my electric kettle for me while I’m on my way home, so by the time I get there I have hot water for my tea! So many creative ways to put this tool to work.10/10 would recommend, especially if you have adhd like me.. automation is a life saver!

This is an excellent smart power strip!We use this smart power strip to control our Christmas Tree and other lights/decorations.Very easy setup and control, with app and/or voice commands.In the Alexa app, you can customize a variety of configurations. Control each outlet individually or in groups and set timers.While the USB ports can not be controlled via Alexa or app which is disappointing, would have liked those ports to be “smart” also, the USB ports are still a nice and useful addition for charging phones etc.Overall, the Amazon Basics Smart Plug Power Strip is an excellent product. We will be purchasing more of them and definitely recommend! ★★★★★
