Great holiday lights you put up and keep up year round
Amazing light kit with bright lights and multiple ways to hang them (stickers and screws included). It can be controlled by the remote or through voice command and an app. Pretty high tech! I can’t wait to install these and enjoy them year round.

I could not get them to link to my phone, but the built in options and the colors are enough. Not the easiest to put up, but as there are no lights that put themselves up I can’t complain. I would like an extension that would allow me to place the sensor in a better place, but first world problems and all of that.

Excellent all year long outdoor lights
This is a very nice set of outdoor lights.Each light has its own 3M adhesive and mounting brackets for each light.These are perfect for the holidays, but you can keep them mounted all year round for different occasions.According to the documentation, you can easily trim this string of lights to accommodate whatever space you need to put them in.

High quality, water resistant, architectural lighting, but pricey
These are some high quality string lights. Each connection is sealed with a thread and plastic nut along with a gasket. Each LED is sealed and covered by a lens. The only exposed connection is the AC/DC power adapter into the household socket. Adhesive is brand name 3M, and even the clear plastic mounting clips appear to be durable, with tiny screws are included. However, this quality drives up the cost at $140 for 50 feet and 36 LEDs. For any sizeable installation (like the outlined house that is displayed on the product webpage), several of these light strings would be needed, and the cost would add up quickly. I noticed that the light is focused by the lens and directed straight out from the top of the LED…there is not much light seen from the side of the LED. This is OK for an architectural lighting application where the installation is going to point the LEDs back at the house (as described in the product description), but this light string would not work well for applications that require omnidirectional light. It is recommended to use this string light for reflected applications for the best effect. The included remote is useful, but I really like that the LEDs can be controlled over WiFi using the phone app for full control and timing.

More than Christmas. Using them year ‘round
We didn’t get them up in time for Christmas – but it doesn’t matter! We have a very large covered patio. The lights were just long enough to go all the way around. Great mood lighting for conversations, sitting around the firepit or playing ping pong. I am so glad we have them. They work just as described. Definitely recommended.

Not installed yet, but amazing when tested and endless potential!
I’m obsessed with these lights…PERMANENT lights that I can use all year, for any occasion, but NEVER have to take down??!!?!?! YES, PLEASE!!!!!! Suddenly, decorating my house for ANY occasion is no longer something I dread. I’m also thrilled that I’ll no longer be the only person in the neighborhood whose Christmas lights are still up come February or March, lol!!!These lights are almost invisible once installed – the only way anyone would know they’re there is if you tell them or turn them on. The amount of control you have with every aspect of these lights through the app is incredible…you can customize everything from the colors of each light to the pattern/speed/brightness/motion, etc. I haven’t installed them yet, but I’ve thoroughly tested them in all the aspects mentioned above and am blown away by what these can do!You’re given so much versatility in using these lights that it’s a little overwhelming, lol! The colors can be whatever you want them to be, whether bold and vibrant or soft and subtle. You can create any effect you can think of, so the possibilities are literally endless.I’m curious to find out how durable they are after they’re exposed to the elements all year round, as well as how long they last/continue to work – it’ll be super disappointing if they stop working after only a few months. I’m also hoping they stay where you put them, so I won’t have to deal with constantly having to fix them if they come loose. When I find out, I’ll update this review, but I’m a sucker for possibilities, so for now, my recommendation is based solely on that – IMO, they’re absolutely worth at least trying!

Cannot Change Length Configuration!
Lovely light…They work OK. But if you do not have a CONTINUOUS ROOF LINE…….There are no extensions or connectors made for this set. The manufacturer has chosen to create a proprietary connecting standard so even if you go out and buy 3-pin 15mm connectors, they won’t work because the gender/thread combination is backwards on these. If you have a continuous roof line of 100 feet, (then, you have an unusual house!!!), then by all means, you can use these. If your roof line jumps from the garage to an upper roof line, (for example), then you will see these lights stranded in mid air. The only other option is to cut the line and create a waterproof splice by adding industry-standeard connectors to each end of the splice. Good luck with that, though!The Verdict:For this price, stay away!
