Bought a second. Solid, well built, feels indestructible and looks great.
This is my second of this hose reel. This is very sturdy and well made and much better alternative to the plastic ones I’ve gotten at local retailers. The handle is very solid and allows me to put the force and leverage to reel in long hoses with ease. It just feels solid.It did cost more than the plastic ones but I expect to last much longer and worth the investment and will save money over the long run.The guide organizes the hose well and maximizes the amount of hose that can be stored. I have a large yard so I typically have a couple of hoses on the reel to reach where I need it.Aesthetically it looks great and stylish.

Sturdy, well-built hose reel
Nice sturdy product. I like that the metal feet raise the box above the ground. All metal products eventually rust, so the feet will keep the main body off the ground, away from water. I am replacing a previous metal hose reel from 15 years ago so I am particularly cognizant of that aspect. The connections look pretty good quality – no leaks out of the box. Leader hose is well done. Very easy to put together. I did notice when feeding the hose for the first time that it’s possible for the hose to have extra slack – there’s nothing “holding” the hose as you reel, so if it cranks backwards, it is possible for the hose to get tangled in the reel, but I think it would be hard to design around that. The hole that the hose goes through is large enough to accept a hose connection if the connection is not huge. I like the flat top so I can place items like small sprinklers or nozzles on top.

Quality piece for on a patio – Tidy & Functional
This isn’t cheap but is really nice quality and works well. It was easy to put together and fit our hose perfectly. Really tidied up our patio and made putting away the hose super easy. It pulls out smoothly and winds up easily. Best part is it serves as an end table to our patio furniture and looks nice with matching black metal on the coffee table.

Worth every penny!
Tired of cheap, plastic hose cabinets that need to be replaced frequently? Then look no further! This product is hands down the best hose cabinet I’ve ever purchased!! It’s extremely sturdy. (I sit on it when I’m working on the sprinklers.) Additionally the guided hose winding system is super fast to wind and incredibly tidy inside the box. Connecting it to the house and hose was quick and easy. Every aspect of this product seems to be well planned out and engineered. I was concerned about the price tag, but I thought I’d try it. ZERO regrets! Buying this product will save you money in the long run.

Superb product and customer support.
When we received this hose reel we found a broken screw. We contacted customer support and with in 3 days we had a new hose reel. The hose reel is a strong steel that looks very good and functions exceptionally well. We are very happy with the result of doing business with AquaZilla.

Built to last !!!
HIGHLY recommend this hose reel!! Our last hose reel was plastic and the sun damaged it and the hailstones destroyed it. This one however will be around much longer. It is metal, built tough, has smooth inner workings, and will last a very long time. I rolled 100 feet of 5/8″ hose with zero leaks and a smooth quiet rollup to store the hose. The hose is easily pulled out from the front opening by my short wife, and she can easily wind the hose while the inner workings layer the hose perfectly inside. Top notch design and manufacture, highly recommended!!

Love reel, hate the leader hose
I love everything about the sturdy, good-looking metal cabinet and hose reel. Quality made and all the hook ups are sturdy metal so it can securely hold and wind heavy duty hoses without springing a leak, kinking, or getting stuck while winding. Unfortunately, the leader hose is not as well made. Immediately leaked upon connection. I know it was the hose because I bought a quality replacement and it connected without any leaks. Wish I could get a partial refund for the defective hose. Don’t want to bother with returning the whole thing for the hose.

Super expensive but will last forever
We burned through several hose holders – or struggled to retract the garden hose on a few more – before just buying an expensive one that is built for ease of retraction and is beautiful in the yard. The box and mechanism are sturdy. We are now done buying hose holders 🙂
