Cool as a cucumber
A lot of the reviews I read before I bought this some Lago. It’s so cold summer like it’s just a nice blanket. I’m letting you know this blanket is cold. I didn’t notice anything the first night because it just came out of the dryer but every night since then I have a big goose feather down, comforter that I use every night and it gets hot anytime I put this blanket on. I’m instantly cool to the point where I sometimes have to take it off and put my other blanket on because it’s too cold. it’s very soft very comfortable worth every penny I literally just bought another one to line my recliner because I tend to get hot there. Definitely recommend buying this. Don’t regret this purchase at all.

Love this cool blanket
Received one & immediately knew I would get a 2nd for a family member. Love the feel, so soft. Almost as smooth as a satin pillow case, but doesn’t cling like satin can. You can immediately feel the coolness. One side seems to me is cooler than the other. Just used this blanket. After a while I turned it over to what I feel is the cooler side. Living in a desert area, I still like my swamp cooler, it works very well. In my room I use a ceiling fan on low & tower fan also on low, stirring the air over my bed slightly. I truely felt chilly, so tossed a thin throw on top of the cool blanket & slept comfortably for several hours which is longer than usual. Normally, I would wake up with a sweaty back, But when I woke up, I wasn’t sweating at all. Got up to do my business, returned to bed & my new thin cool blanket with a light weight thin throw on top & lights out! I am so pleased with this purchase!Only concern is that I no longer have a clothes line to hang it on to air dry after washing it, but I’ll figure it out!

Works well in a single layer.
I’m a very hot sleeper and on meds that give me hot flashes. I’ve been looking for a solution. This does help. I don’t think there is any material that feels like it has a built in cooler, so this is my best solution thus far. My method, it always has to be in a single layer with extra to the side so I can move it over when the part on me gets warm during a hot flash. Outside of the hot flash, it does get cold and stay pretty well with a single layer, a/c and a fan. It will get warm with your body heat in areas without the fan. I have cursed myself when I’ve balled it up on one side under me and effectively made the whole thing warm.Overall, I like the feel of it. It’s soft and silky when cold. Although not my favorite when hot… idk, you can just feel the texture more when hot. That being said, I ordered another one from a different company and the texture of this one was muuuch better.I have a unique situation, post-stroke, where one side of my body feels pain when cold. I’m still in the experimental stages of how to balance the use of this blanket. All that being said, if the fan is on me with this blanket, the affected side of my body feels pain.. so, yeah, it’s cold and the fan helps it remain cold unless you’re burning down with a hot flash. I would recommend to my menopausal friends or anyone that sleeps hot.Also, great for hanging on the couch (because those flashes don’t only come at night) and pup approved! 🙂

I was skeptical about this blanket, but after receiving and using it for over two months, its cooling effect is the real thing. It also helps keep me warm, as long as there’s some other blanket or sheet over the top of it. The cooling effect it has really kicks in when the blanket rubs across your skin, so moving causes cooling. It’s great for the price, and the steel blue color is fitting since it’s supposed to be cooling. The material is very nice. Cool to the touch, and feels high quality, yet also is light and breathes to enhance the cooling effect. The instructions for washing say to not put it in the dryer. We just air dry it over a couple chairs and it dries quickly.

Completely worth the price – so comfortable.
My wife got this for me as a surprise birthday gift. I’m always hot at night. Sometimes I wake up and the blankets are off my bed. This blanket is a complete game changer. It’s light weight. It’s very cool, but not to the point that you will be cold. Once your body heat adjusts, it’s the perfect combination between cool and warm. I don’t think I’ll ever need a different blanket. With 100 degree temps coming this weekend, I’ll be testing this out even more. I have the queen size because I use it for my half of the bed in a king size bed. Only downside might be how slippery it is. It will just roll off the bed if too much is hanging off. Completely worth the price. We bought so many fleece blankets, but now I won’t be needing those. I haven’t washed it yet, but I will soon.
