Excellent quality
Easy to install. Works perfectly with Alexa and lasts a very long time. This is probably the 4th one wr have bought for different lamps. You can change it to different colors which my kids love. It has a normal base so it fits regular sized lamps.The light quality is superior. We had one out of the 4 we noticed some flickering but it had been used for over a year and probably was about to go out so we changed it. Also note we can change the brightness to dim or bright.

Nice for the right situation, when a smart switch or dimmer is not available
I finally tried one of these smart bulbs. I have many smart switches and devices in my house but most all of my light switches are dimmer switches (and most are not LED dimmer compatible either) so i haven’t tried one of these until now. My hallway/stairway light only has a switch at the top of the steps. It doesn’t bother me but my guests are often freaked out. Decided i’d put this bulb in that ceiling fixture and i could set a timer to have it on as soon as it’s dark. I love the dimming and color choices and it works flawlessly with the app. Using with voice control on my echo devices is very wonky (but that often does not work even playing music, and i tend to connect my phone to the echo via bluetooth to play music or else Alexa does whatever she pleases when i ask by voice). So far if i ask Alexa to turn this light on, she says she can’t connect and then i ask a second time and it comes on. If i use the app, it comes on immediately. However if i ask alexa to turn my lamps on which are controlled by Govee switches, it’s immediate with no glitch, so it must be something with the nature of a smart bulb vs a smart switch. Definitely not a deal breaker for me as i generally prefer using the app to speaking.

Bright, Fun, and Easy to Control
I bought the 2-pack of Amazon Basics smart bulbs, and I’m really happy with them. Setup with Alexa was quick and effortless, and now I can change colors or brightness with just voice commands.The color options look great in the room (as you can see in my photo), and the warm white setting is cozy for everyday use. At 800 lumens, the brightness is just right without being harsh.A great value for two bulbs — simple to use, fun to customize, and reliable every day. 💡✨

Great bulbs, small color selection.
Super easy to set up!! I literally plugged both in and they connected to my Alexa right away! The brightness is great I like that there dimmable, fits perfectly into my light, functions great, doesn’t get super hot, the price of this product is nice for how easy it was to set up and the quality of the colors and brightness, the only reason it’s getting 4 stars is because I wish the colors were more customizable… you just get a small selection of colors to choose from, no in betweens. Other than that though these bulbs are great and I would purchase again!

The Smart Bulb Apocalypse
I was a victim of the great Smart Bulb Apocalypse earlier this year when a previously well known and often purchased brand suddenly left us all having to use light switches again like the Dark Ages. I saw an online recommendation for Amazon bulbs, which I didn’t even know were a thing, and I am so, so glad I followed that advice.These are SO EASY. All I did was unscrew my old, disappointing smart bulb, plug in the new Amazon bulb, and it was auto detected. I opened my Alexa app to finish the set up, but that really consisting of naming it appropriately, adding it to the right groups, and moving on. It easily took two minutes or less.These are excellent bulbs. The dimming ability works perfectly. The brightness level is a smidge better than my last bulbs, but certainly not over bearing.I will be using these in every room of the house.

4 months?? That’s All I Get?
These have been great, for the most part, however it has been about 4 months and two of the bulbs are now acting up. They will turn on at times, and other times they won’t. They’re not blown, and there isn’t a short in the wire as regular bulbs will work in the socket. For some reason, these two bulbs appear defective and flicker. When they’re working, the lighting is wonderful, but with two of the four out more than they’re on, it creates a major issue for me. Given the cost, 4 months isn’t long enough. I’m passed the return window, but I feel as though I shouldn’t have to pay to replace these two bulbs. They should last longer than 4 months. I’m going to order replacements, but if this happens again, I’ll be looking to move away from these bulbs and into some other companies product.

It’s very easy too use and setup. The colors don’t look perfect but are fun too switch around with and I thought the light bulb would be pretty bright but it’s alot dimmer for sure than regular light bulbs but it’s still a very good product.

There was virtually no setup involved. I turned on the smart bulb, waited a minute, then started my Alexa app on my phone. The app immediately found the new device and walked through a couple of steps in the configuration process.Now it works great, and I can use voice commands on my Echo Shows to turn the light on/off, change color and brightness, etc. I have also created routines to turn it on/off at set times when I am away in the evening.

This bulb connected faster than any other brand that I have purchased in the past. I have been struggling to reconnect a previously functioning Singled bulb, but to no avail. I finally gave up and decided to try this new Amazon basics brand. What a dream to connect! All I had to do was plug it in open my camera to the little piece of paper that was attached with the barcode and it was set up. Highly recommend. Honestly, I’m probably going to buy 10 more.
